Another Conversion Kit Question (sorry)

By Boba Rick, in X-Wing

Sorry if someone already answered this, but I was wondering if when it says there are two conversions for the Lamba Shuttle - does that mean there are two Colonel Jendons in there? Or is it just two of the generics?

Enough stuff to field 2 lambas. Only one of any given unique, though

Best thing is to use this site: http://xwing-miniatures-second-edition.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Conversion_Kits

I go there all the time to (re)check what is in each kit. It should answer all your questions. Even includes which pilots are shared on each token.

Hmmm.... wish it was clearer. It just says:

Lambda-class T-4a Shuttle Edit

Front/back combinations
  • Captain Kagi / Colonel Jendon
  • Lieutenant Sai / Omicron Group Pilot

Up top it says:

Contents Edit

  • 3 – Alpha-class Star Wing
  • 3 – Inquisitor’s TIE
  • 2 – Lambda-class Shuttle
  • 2 – TIE Advanced

If there are more than 1, it will show it. Look at Academy Pilot for TIE/ln, you will see (x4) next to it. You know that the kit has 4 of those pilots. Otherwise, it's just one.

Right, but it says there's enough to convert two shuttles...? So that means two dials and only four pilot cards?

That part at the top lists dial count, I think. That is what is listed in the FAQ section at https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/x-wing-second-edition/

Yes, 4 pilot cards. Kagi and Jendon cannot be played at the same time since they share a token. Likewise for Sai and Omicron.

What kind of list are you trying to cook up this time BobaRick?

---------------------------------

I'm sure you could proxy one of the two ship tokens as long as you clear it with your opponent. It's the arcs that matter most on the ship tokens anyways.

They'll likely have a similar issue with a ship in their faction as well. Same for the pilot card. Maybe just put a sticky note on the card.

Well, Jendon is going to be awesome, I can feel it in my bones. Mrs. Rick will probably use him in a 4BJD list, but I was thinking of running him with a 2.0 version of HatchetMan and Vessery....

Major Vynder — Alpha-Class Star Wing 41

Lone Wolf 4

Fire-Control System 3

Proton Torpedoes 9

Cluster Missiles 5

Os-1 Arsenal Loadout0

Ship Total: 62

Colonel Jendon — Lambda-Class Shuttle 46

Ship Total: 46

Colonel Vessery — TIE Defender 88

Juke4

Ship Total: 92

Not enough Jendon to go around!

Jendon vs. Jendon... I see. And you already have 2 Lambdas? Maybe if Jendon becomes the new hotness someone with multiple copies can trade you for it.

When trading, never underestimate the power of food. I'm a sucker for it anyways. I traded a Rookie pilot (ship, dial, etc) for a pastrami sandwich at my first store championship this summer!

Well, in 1.0 I wound up buying two QuickDraws for the same reason!
