Might this be the first ship that can really profit from Tagge? Given that you will probably be in range of all your oppenents ships in Round 2 and that there is a good chance of surviving until the beginning of round 5 AND the fact that your oppenent very likely will have to destroy your SSD to win the game? Sounds like all the factors that make Tagge worth it IMO. What do you think?

Yup, he's at the very least not awful for it! We tried him out last night and he did a solid job keeping the defence tokens fully charged. Managed to trigger him on both opportunities for the SSD and gave it a good bit of flexibility around how it uses the tokens.

I certainly think so. I've been vocal about it on the forums since the SSD's reveal. Tagge finally has a place to call home. I think he would outperform Motti in terms of survivability when it comes to the SSD (however Motti interacts with huge ships remains to be seen).

Tagge is pretty OP anywhere, I don’t see why the SSD would be any different

Yeah, we playtested his and it allows the SSD player to be pretty aggressive. I think whenever you see an SSD sitting across the table from you some quick decisions have to be made as to whether you think you can bring it down, and Tagge made overheating those braces too difficult. Looks like he finally has a home!

Probably still better options, though...
