Because the unicorn are impatient and wanted to burn this role on keeper of fire. This was a bad idea imo. We should of gone seeker of fire here and keeper of water at worlds. Oh well.

I dunno, keeper of fire is pretty potent for unicorn (well, honestly it's the best role in the game for all clans, but still)

I agree Seeker is not good for us. Fire gives us FoF and Djinn, Water gives us Press for battle and fight on/along the river of gold. I think the water cards are just as impactful as the fire roles.

The pole on the facebook page does show a favor towards fire (78), but 25 wanted water with seeker of fire coming in at 15 people. I would not call that "hardly nobody" (I know you know this, but just for everyone's sake I wanted to share this.)

The copyright is probably just for the image. The number in the set is 1 which may also be a sign that it is just for this promotional image. I hope to be wrong and you are right.

Imperial Advisor put together an article that list every card unlocked by each role.

I think it can be useful so you can see what your role gets you at a glance.

Zero Unicorn favor points? I just feel so bad for the clan.

Time for a clan redesign.

When you only get 1 or 2 hatamoto per tournament, the chances that onw of them can go to other tournaments decreases. No real way to win favor pointsvif you dont have any hatamotos.

We're going to assume that moving forward, new roles will go live around the second week of a month and that they will go live in March, July, & November (the latter will be just after Worlds). The information I've been given is that each role will be active for 8 months and that a role cannot be chosen immediately as it goes out (like a character cannot be readied by the water ring it just won).

We could all choose to have our current first role for every World Championship:

The months are numbered rather than named for formatting. Thus, if you have a desired role - the best role for your clan and it doesn't change - you could conceivably run that for every World's event. Green is rotating out immediately following the W (World Championship). If that role were blocked, you'd still have another opportunity (Yellow) to grab and secure it.

Now, I am optimistic that each clan's desired role will change from year-to-year, but if it doesn't...

One Correction I would make is they confirmed Worlds Roles will go live in January and the Elemental Championship Roles are May and September

As far as I know, all of the promos have been extended art, which this is not, and the symbols on the promos I have seen have been different from what is in Toshi Ranbo. I am going to hope there is another release after the Scorpion clan pack this year, I do not want another drought like between the last two cycles.

Does Toshi Ranbo have no element, or am I just failing to recognize the symbol? Is it a “non-element” symbol?

I believe it can count as any element. So, whatever's most convenient.

Trying to come to terms with this...but apparently whatever the Crab voted for, be it Keeper of Water or Seeker of Fire, still was dwarfed by the number who voted for Seeker of Earth and thus it defaulted to their tertiary choice as all previous choices were taken? Must have been a lot of people to make that effort not matter.

It doesn't help that there were only 25 Crab in the field for the entire event.

Crab's top 3 voted were: 1)Seeker of Void, 2)Keeper of Fire, 3) Seeker of Earth

Keeper of Fire went to Unicorn & Seeker of Void went to Lion.
