However it seems it is an AND in the original version? Can you please confirm?

Yes, it's supposed to be an 'AND'. However, considering how difficult final battle against Tsathoggua is, playing it like an 'OR' might not be such a bad idea.

Yeah, well that's Tsathoggua for you. An extremely lax and hands-off special ability and long doom track should well be balanced by a brutal final battle.
