Gungans in Legion

I think all of the prequels will be used as there is just so many things from The Phantom Menace that would work well in Legion. In the same way I expect that things from rogue one and Rebels will be used even though they weren't technically part of the Galactic civil war.

I really hope you're right. I would love to see just EVERYTHING Star Wars be added so we got tons of armies and tons of different units so this war game actually flushes out to something bigger and grander. I will be really disappointed if the game stays solely with 4 (or 6 with sequel factions) armies in total with them just tossing Gungans, Ewoks, Wookies, and whatever other races we've seen into the big 4 (or 6)

These things are unlikely to be their own faction. Hopefully each get at least a corps and a commander model, plus enough support units to be able to hit 800 points, thereby allowing dedicated fans to field entire armies of them in games. Seems unlikely that 6 units of ewoks and a commander would be worth 800 points after all.

Not to break anyone's heart here, but I think they'll do all the clone stuff before they get into Gungans lol

Gungan armed forces played a part in the clone wars series too...

... I mean, they got their *** kicked on screen... but they played a part..

Depends on the episode. They did successfully capture General Grevious after all.

The sheer fact that Gungans were involved with capturing Grevious means they are significant.

The dude is a weasel. he has a knack for disappearing more than batman does....

For a CGI army from 1999, i.e. last century, yeah, they actually weren't bad. EP1 was this massive experiment with this brand new cgi technology. Sure Jar Jar was a failed experiment but success only comes from failure and we don't get Rocket Racoon without Jar Jar.

This is why whenever i play Rebellion i use the death star on Naboo. Even when it achieves no practical benefit to the empire. Even if its my own planet.

I agree, without Jar Jar, Gungans are a really cool species.

And even Jar Jar is more palatable if you’ve read Darth & Droids

And now I am addicted.

Doesn’t that explain Jar Jar perfectly??!!

Sadly, I don’t think his treatment of the original trilogy is nearly as good. I suspect because the movies are better overall. Haven’t started his Rogue One campaign yet.

Yeah I was feeling more their MonCala failure ?

It was less of a failure and more of a delayed success for plot reasons?. To be fair, the combined Clone Army and Mon Cal armies also failed there initially
