Question on conversion kits

By voltagejim, in X-Wing

I have 1 of every expansion released so far for each faction in X-wing. (minus the Saw Guerrea pack, and the TIE reaper). If I get one of each conversion kti does that come with everything to convert ever expansion released so far to 2.0? Does it have the new art work card for upgrades and pilots, plus the new dials and everything else?

Essentially, yes. Though it might be short a few TIE fighters

It should actually provide some surplus!

The Imperial and Rebel conversion kit includes everything except the Reaper and the pilots from Saw's Renegades since those came with 2.0 material.

Wow that's awesome! I was honestly skeptical that they would pack those conversion kits with a hundred cards or so (between pilots and upgrades)

The conversion kits are more to allow you to play ANY of your current ships right off the bat instead of having to wait for that ship to be re-released.

Just to be clear, the conversion kits aren't COMPLETE conversions. They include EVERYTHING in wave 1 (minus the core set material, they still want you to buy that), but everything past wave 1 has, in general, 4 pilots for ships (typically 2 generics and 2 aces with a handful of exceptions), but only the talents and other upgrades found in wave 1 for that particular faction. As far as dials go, there was a break down of how many for each ship each conversion kit comes with.
