On the other hand I would like to get a preview of the factions in the deck. It would be a shame to get 2 decks with the same faction composition out of all the ?210? Possible faction compositions?

Yeah the box is almost definitely sealed.

That if the outside boxes were just tuck boxes, people could pull out the plastic wrapped deck, look at the visible card list on the back of the archon card since it's packed facing out, and shop around for the deck they wanted by doing this to multiple decks, circumventing the blind buy process.
