Suffer Not the Unclean (IH, page 50) is a Talent that adds restrictions to Pure Faith. However, I can't find any character that starts with this Talent, nor could i see anyone voluntarily purchasing it. Am I missing something, or is the entry for this Talent a total waste of space?
Where does Suffer Not the Unclean show up?
I believe it was errata'd as a sub-ability of the Pure Faith talent, not as a seperate talent in itself. Such a seperate Talent would do nothing beneficial to the character in question.
Therefore, all characters possessing Pure Faith would be considered to also possess Suffer not the Unclean by default.

Isn't that going to be pretty harsh on Ascended characters with Pure Faith? There's one Transition Package (Cleansed and Purified) that burns away Corruption, but even it isn't going to make staying under 10 CP s sure thing.

It most definitly wasn't a sure thing in DH, though possible. As always, just remimber to save a Fate Point at all times to ignore all Coruption for an encounter (and make sure you have the faith Talent tat lets you do that... forgot it's name). There also seems to be more chance for mitigation in Ascension. Not only will your WP be higher which will help a lot, but one of the Inquisitor's special abilities halves all coruption that comes his way (bonus if you also have Armour of Contempt), and the Hierophant's special ability lets him up and ignore any single coruption gain once per game session.
Just consider the loss of Pure Faith at 10 cp as a way ofinforcing the strict puritanical mindset one would need to even have pure faith in the first place. If it might even stand the shadow of a chance of giving you coruption, destroy it before it can... with fire!
I think that what HappyDaze might be getting at though (if he isn't and this is all my imagination, it still opens up a nice can of worms IMHO), is that for characters such as Heirophants, who may not have had the opportunity to pick up Pure Faith until now, short of originating as a black priest or sororitas, they may already be 'too far gone' in the CP department to validate the purchase of Pure Faith. This may even prevent them from taking Pure Faith in the first place, since SNTU prevents them from acquiring "new" faith talents once over the 10 CP threshold and this could be interpeted as still counting to the initial faith talent which packages STNU with it. Armour of Contempt only goes so far when you can't pick new powers.
You *could* argue that working your way puritanically through to Ascension, avoiding too many CPs through skillful play, high WP, and plain dumb luck, is evident grounds for being 'qualified' to take Pure Faith. But I can just as easily, if not more easily, see many examples where characters just won't be able to buy Pure Faith because it's interpreted as either pre-emptively unavailable or just plain useless by now. The only reliable way to slow down the inevitable advances of CPs is through spending fate points through Pure Faith to auto-pass those Warp Shock feat tests. And
A)Pure Faith is only available to black priests and sororitas and
B) If you already have Pure Faith this is all moot anyway.
Basically, "too little, too late", as the saying goes. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a new alternate rank or two for core DH introduce Pure Faith. It doesn't have to be available "to the masses" per se, and it doesn't have to be available from the get-go, but it'd be nice to see a few more "genuine believers" have the option of possessing it.
And don't forget, once you are Ascended, you can buy off Corruption with XP, just like Insanity.

Take Cleansed and Purified. Then by down your CPs from there to a managable level and, prest-o, you're set to buy Pure Faith after much trial, tribulation, and stringthining of faith ;-)
