When I posted that - it was the final table from YESTERDAY - so not the FINAL table.

We need to start a gofundme to get @JJs Juggernaut some better dice. He'll be unstoppable.

I dont think we need to make him unstoppable... i am up for gofunding even worse dice though!
Based on the notes I have there were 9 different admirals in the Top 9 finishers. That’s pretty cool.

few questions with the @JJs Juggernaut's list, you or what else see de tournament, prefer go first or second? Why Station assault than most wanted? For the points? For know where the rival are going to be? And Hondo? Why not Jaina's for the same two points? I like the list, but I want to understand it.

I don't think that's correct. I was 8th and Nate Coda was (I believe?) 5th, and we were both running Rieekan.

He definitely chose first player when he was given the option. And I expect he would have jainas light in the next iteration of the list.

If you go to 10th, I believe I was the only Garm in that group which means 9 different admirals out of 10.

Both were Rieekan MSU, rather than aceholes, if that makes you feel any better ?.

Ah crap, you’re right. Somehow had you with Big D in my notes.
But 9 different admirals in the Top 10 is still really solid.

I can say that both of my games against @JJs Juggernaut would have gone much more smoothly if he'd had nearly any other upgrade in that slot.
I think Iget it but can you spell out how it was used?

I brought six activations, SA gave him seven. Not only was he able to deploy Profundity in a strong position, but he was also able to dictate the engagement afterward. I think most players would use the Raddus drop to place it with a double arc in close range, but he forced me to move INTO range and guaranteed a last-first shot due to activation advantage.
Forget i asked
I am not on my game this week.
brilliant reading skills

First was definitely preferred. Going second were the games I was most worried about as I had a lot of close range ships.
Station assault allows me to dictate the flow of combat more, as I can drive my opponent to a specific place. Also with raddus you can often force them to choose between the stations or engaging your fleet. Most wanted is also less strong against Raddus, so I chose to avoid it in case of a mirror match.
Hondo won me the final elimination game by providing a CF token to reroll my final hit against Black Squadron. He's worth the points (though he has backfired one me before...). Jaina's was an oversight on my part, forgot about that title....It would have gotten me numerous extra shots over the tournament and it didn't really effect the bids I came up against. I was either going against bids>395 or bids<382

Strategic adviser was a very strong card for me this tournament. It gave me that extra push to avoid squadron pushes from low activation fleets, and also to out activate the large number of 4-6 activation fleets. A couple games I'd raddus Admonition just to be able to use SA for activation advantage, since I'd have the Hammerhead tucked away as well. I did a lot of turn 2 drops via aggressive Quantum Storm movement or CR90 at speed 4 to allow me to achieve activation parity/advantage. Since you can use Profundity to place the Hammerhead and then Raddus to place the MC30 you can still cover a lot of ground with the smaller base.
Also I often wouldn't place my ships directly in front of my opponents at close range, since I could use activations to force them into me without taking so much damage, something I had to be very cognizant about when I had no squadron cover.

Thank you very much for the explanation, now I have clear what do you want with the list, I 'm eager to see you with the next iteration of this list o another new one.
