I'm going to get a jewelry cleaner to strip miniatures with. Any advice on which brands to use, if a cheap one works as well as an expensive one for minis, what kind of solution to use in it, etc.

Works perfectly well. The timer options are not all that great but it gets the job done. It’s $40 so I don’t know if that qualifies as cheap or expensive. But it seems to be good quality. You aren’t going to drop an ATST in it but it will strip miniatures.

I use it with simply green 50/50 dilutes with water. Works well.
