poorly designed sentence. Can probably take Tua, as well as Brunson might have been more clear. Who knows if Tua will be allowed though, if the huge ship is a large ship with special rules like a flotilla she would be good, if huge ship is a new class all on it's own then it would mean it gets no benefit from any of the "large ship" only upgrades?

I do believe the large upgrades are cut and dry. This is a huge class ship and i would think that the large only upgrades are deliberately designed with this thing in mind. Lets face it, motti would just make this thing even more absurd and he makes no mention of huge ship on his card

Again, as per pixel reading the splash, it's 250

where on the splash does it say 250? (it doesn't show up on the computer home page)

Someone CSI that Admiral Piett.

Apparently the mobile home page has a different picture.

At 220 points you could run dual SSDs in a campaign, holy crap that would be insane.

Can someone decipher that Admiral Piett Card?

Per the spread in the article:

Emperor commander, Piett commander, eperor officer, Darth Vader officer, Admiral something office (probably Piett based on art), Director Krennic officer, an officer whose name starts with L, and a Commander something as an officer.

Sloane's new carrier looks good, especially if a version can push 6 squadrons

7 squads actually, add EHB

Starts with "When a friendly ship..."

That 33 hull monstrosity is chucking 10 dice out of the front and 8 out both forward left and right hull zones...

Jeez, look at the armament on the other 2 cards and the sweet artwork for the assault prototype.

I'm not seeing it there either, it disappears under the SSD model...

On a different note, Palpatine seems very hit or miss. sometime he will super intel officer his way to victory, but on ships with redundant defense tokens, or defense tokens they don't mind losing, he may just fall flat.

Also: double fleet command.... by virtue of the fact it’s only speed 2 max and gets tokens automatically, I feel the choice is made of any combination of IF! And STM! Being the choices there

Yeah, if for sure since you trade a reroll for a hit. But the rest isnt offering much. Max 2 gozanties, small fighter group. So no real benefit for those in standard play.

In order to do that you would have to run a 280 pt fleet against 400pt fleets until your team amasses enough resources for you to buy the second SSD. I think doing this is a recipe for having your team get their asses kicked.

You’re really only benefiting yourself for sure.

the benefit is to the SSD itself mostly. Your paying 220 points for it minimum, so you need it to be stupid powerful.

No, you can discard ships now.

so you just have to bank points until you are ready

And IF! Counts for all 3 of your Attcks, instead of only 1 with the CF token

You can? Oh wow I totally missed that change. What a huge quality of life problem solved with a stroke of the pen.

Piett: “When a friendly ship spends [only?] a command token to [execute a maneuver?], you may exhaust this card. If you do,”

But only at different targets of course...

Advanced Gunnery anyone

On a side note it's one way they justify the size. The Prototype SSD's were known to be smaller than the actual SSD which is why they are 22 hull and not 33 like the Executor-class

Part of the FAQ updates.

You can’t discard individual upgrades though - the only way to delete upgrades is to put them in a ship and delete the ship, which counts as destroyed of course.

It's hiding right next to the front shield dial.
