I love it.
I now need to find the MDI source files for the voice lines from the Tie Fighter game to play.
"Mission critical craft under attack!"
"Mission critical craft damaged!"
"Mission critical craft... destroyed..."

there has to be additional restrictions to palp we arent seeing.
That should not be a 35pt commander....

He forsaw that he was supposed to be overcosted, so he already took the steps needed to counter it.

Armed station is a station.
Friendly ship is a ship.
Not saying you're wrong. Just that is also possible that a right auxiliary hull zone is also a right hull zone.
You get what I've been thinking, I'm not going to assume rules until the SSD is in my hands. A lot can be changed and/or refined between now and release.
If I had to bet on it though, I would say large ship upgrades would work on the SSD, because the versatility of the chassis would be severely limited without those cards, and SSD needs extreme versatility in list building. The SSD IS THE LIST.
Edited by Piratical MoustacheAlso interesting how can you use that maneuver to get range from the side aux arcs

My favourite list has no braces (apart from Jan Ors), and no contains. I’m not going to let more than two of my many ships be shot in a turn - “You failed, your Majesty...”

SAd, HB, Motti, Konstantin, Pryce and Tua*
Those are all I think.
*Better with huge being just huge and not large for any purpose.
So thought... Squadrons get deployed distance 2 from a ship base.... That's an awfully large ship base

The funny thing is, people are complaining about Palp but his ability is only a once use per token. You don't get to every turn be like "if you use a brace.... It's gone forever!" every turn. Just once and hopefully it's a key turn

Turn 1 7 bomber attack with a Rhymer ball?

God's... It could be worse! Add in distance 5 activations and relay... And an ISD could activate these

He doesn't prevent spending, can use his ability 4 turns, and only one of each token per turn. What is wrong with that?
I find it funny that the ship is longer than the range ruler.

5 turns. Nothing is wrong with him.

Hah. Lasers in rhe future can't fire farther than modern arrows. Somethng aint quite right here!!
Ive always felt every range bracket and movement segement in this game is too short. Games would be quicker and more dynamic if the range ruler and movement tool was 50% longer. Would really help the congestion problems too.
The turbolasers can shoot longer than the range ruler, it's just that even slow ships can see the blasts coming and move out of the way... or angle their deflectors... or something...

Rules actually very specifically state that squadrons cannot be deployed out of the setup area.
That being said. That makes RLB an interesting choice and helllooooo fighter ambush.

Rules also dictate the setup area as the area inside the 4 corners that you place down to mark the setup area. If we went with your interpretation then you could only deploy debris in the deployment area which I think is what you mean.
Setup area is the 4x3 you create and deployment is the distance 3 area from the players table edge
