Noob Question: Armor Plating

By 14cross, in Star Wars: Destiny

How does this card (Armor Plating) work? Do I put two shield counters on it and remove them as the armored character is hit? Or do I add wound tokens to it and, once it has been hit twice, remove the card?

Or does "block" mean something different? Does it mean that it blocks up to two damage every round and starts back at zero the next round unless someone deals two or more damage to it that round? Does that make sense? I tried to find this answer in the forums but was unsuccessful. I also looked on BGG but could not find an answer there. Thanks for your help!

Block is the term used to prevent damage. Shields block damage. Cards like Force Illusion and Armor Plating can also block damage. They are not shields though.

Armor Plating is pretty simple. Whenever the character with that upgrade takes damage, you can block two of it with Armor Plating, taking two less. If you do, you discard Armor Plating from play.
