That's quite the Super Dtar Destroyer.

The ISD model is a little smaller then the back template for comparison.

Oh wow, that's huge. How am I supposed to fit it in the deployment zone? Deploy sideways like a Rebel?

Thanks for the picture though.

Someone get a good picture of the cardboard!

We need more. Higher quality, ISD for scale(or maybe just a ruler xD), close up with details from the cityscape, more angles, pics of the cardboard.

Sorry, I know I am greedy. ?

Video from Shmitty!

Any chance someone can take a picture that zooms in on the card?

I'm willing to bet that the width of the base is the same as the large base. I think some fancy geometry from that can be done to find out how big we're talking.

In six words or less...

"Shut up and take my money." *insert Fry meme here*

Looks very nice. I will buy one for sure. I don't really care if it is playable, I want it for the model alone. Everything else is extra. :- )

some people that cannot get over this, maybe concentrate more on the base? the model is huge, much larger than the base itself, and th base counts. i think it looks absolutely managable, the rest we know tomorrow.

You are welcome.

Phwoar. ?

If they use logic similar to epic X-wing, all you need is some part of the base touching the friendly edge during setup. If placed facing directly pointed at the opponent, you start the game within red dice range, maybe even blue range. Game over man.

Except that your enemy will grossly out deploy the SSD so they are guaranteed to outflank you. Game over for the SSD.

That...that's a thing of beauty.

Would definitely have liked to see it next to the other models, though, for comparison.

God that is a gorgeous model.

Looks wider here (image from the main SSD thread)

Yeah, all small ships and even some medium ships can fit entirely under the part of the SSD sticking out at the back.

We're properly entering 3D space here!

I have heard that FFG updated the display, today, to include a few other ships for scale? And chance of those shots?

You can see a very nice video here showing the comparison:

I always imagined that events like GenCon would be more crowded. Is it always like in that video, or was it just shot at 8am?
