Is this AI driven?

By Zura, in KeyForge

Is ai designing and testing those cards and then making decks with them? Or are there just some patterns and in practice differences between decks will be just a minor switch of few cards? It's impossible for people to make those decks so there are either some patterns (which people will probably solve too soon and some charm of the game will be gone) or it's AI driven.

In the note at the end of the Rule book Richard Garfield mentions procedural generation. That would be your patterns. Designing a software that could create 10^26 decks with any kind of balance out of something like a 350 cards card pool sound like science fiction to me

I think ultimately these will be like playing fortune cookies the game but where you don't get to eat a cookie.

Actually a comestible packaging would be a nice positive selling point...
