Interesting upgrade cards to use on Super Star Destroyer

Support Officer - Get rid of all those command dials

Grand Moff Tarkin and Grand Admiral Thrawn - Pick commands at will

Darth Vader, Gunnery Team, Leading Shots and X17 Turbolasers - The usual suspects for Imperial Class Star Destroyer should go more so for the Super Star Destroyer. Although there's a suspicion it has multi shot rules so it might not need Gunnery Team.

H9 Turbolasers - Lock down those braces and make sure your large amounts of damage dice go through.

Hardened Bulkheads - Actually pretty good, there's a lot of room for the rebels to line up and ram the Super Star Destroyer and this can counter it outright.

Pretty good, one poorly timed crit card could ruin the Super Star Destroyers day. It has like six contain tokens?

22 hull is an insane amount to ram away... To top it off, the back sides are weak and the top sides are VSD in strength and the top is just an ISD, the key is 3 attacks though but with a base that size that back might only just a long range shot on a double arc as this only seems to be SPD 2 (you can tell by the red area in the speed section)

Just realized Hardened Bulkheads is large ship only. So it may not technically be able to go on the Super Star Destroyer.

Also some upgrades will need some fixing if they are intended to go on this beast due to large ship only. Or a rule explain that huge ships are treated as large for whatever purposes.

High Capacity Ion and Enhanced Armament to get bonus dice out of both the front and back side hull zones. That is unless they are classified as something different than just left and right.

If there is a variant with 3 officer slots you can fake a command 1 SSD just by filling those with Engineering Captain and all his friends. Which would be hysterical.

Not saying to put both upgrades on as you obviously can’t.

What I’m trying to say is that because it has 2 side hull zones, you can essentially get a bonus die from each of those hull zones on the same side.

Just trying to point out some possible interesting upgrades as the thread stated... I supposed these are all assumptions at this point so lets not even talk about it until we get more concrete information.

DCO sounds likea great upgrade here... No crit effects for you!

Quad Battery Turrets. No one wants to go speed one into that kind of firepower. And the SSD will want to go speed 1 to maximize the time its front arc is relevant.

Moff Jerjerrod - Based on it's zero yaws at all speeds.

Tagge seems like an even better option than Motti for tanking.

DCO seems like a must.

Hardened bulkheads depending on the faq.

Tua and Advanced Projectors.

It is unlikely the enemy will try and take this thing out by surrounding it and chewing through all the shields on six hull zones. APs will let you absorb all you want on shields even if your braces are red and you don't want to discard them while still on full hull.

Xi7s are only a problem if all the enemy ships have them and even so if you are bracing most large volleys and redirecting one to the far side it should take a while.

If if you have a few spare points then SFO or chart officer are nice and cheap.
