It's all happening.

Has anyone heard from the Game Kastle crew in the South Bay? Are they planning on showing up to kick our butts?

Dr. Cornelius - Are you going to play in the Thrones Regional? How many people from GameKastle do you think will be there?

How often have they actually been playing? Freerider tried showing up for awhile but usually found no one or only 1 player there.

Unluckily, I am now confirmed as a 'no'. First time I have missed Kubla in...over 10 years (I played L5R there before aGoT even started). I tried to tell my wife that my relationship w/ Kubla was longer than my relationship with her...but that didn't fly

Just too much going on w/ the move to NE, and the move of the family, and the taking over the reins at the bank. Next year, I promise!

I saw Dr. Cornelius a few weeks ago. He still plays Thrones fairly regularly with a few folks at the Game Kastle, but mostly melee. (@Khaleesi: I don't know which nights... sorry.) He said he might come to the Kubla Melee, but probably not the Joust.

@Rings: You'll be missed! I appreciated how you went out of your way to welcome me as a newbie last year. I was looking forward to seeing you again.

Glad you'll be there Arma...looking forward to playing with you! And tell Dr. Cornelius we will bring deck for everyone if that's an issue. If he comes to the Melee, he might as well come to the Joust as well! Not to mention the Draft is on Sat night and will be lotsa fun.

Here’s a bit of a warning for those of you going to kubla: Those of us from The Bulwark, are up to shenanigans. We may make jokes about the parentage of Lanister characters, take pictures of hands, and share some mead with people. Just assume that we’re up to no good.

Not yet, but I will be. Still haven't finalized my deck or ideas, but I'm sure I'll be able to put something together to keep your Wildlings from being bored.

I think I finally figured out my Joust deck...just need to test draw and make some cuts. As far as Melee: who knows? I am bringing 4 possible Melee decks and lots of extra cards to fool around with.

Anybody want to join me for some Melee practice on Saturday night after the Draft, or even Sunday morning before the Melee?

First, I've got to remember how to play this game.....

Right now, I am actually most excited to try the draft that Chaos and I put together. Mostly because I don't have to scour through my collection, then make painful cuts and stress every little deckbuilding decision.

When people see the packs we assembled, I think they are going to be pretty psyched/shocked. It is definately the All-Star Draft.

Actually, I think I agree. I love the LCG format, I really do. I love even more that they're finally going to switch over to Chapter packs with x3 of everything so I don't need to keep getting extra redundant "basic" cards. But I love draft games, and those are just so hard to set up under the LCG. So I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys have come up with.

Kublacon starts TODAY!!! Unfortunately, due to my managerial responsibilities in the dugout tonight, I will not be able to be there until first thing tomorrow morning. I'll be hopping on BART around 6:30am and taking the shuttle over to the Con. See everyone there!

(PS. I am going to want to try to get in a practice game or two, so you fools be ready! No sleeping in)

Well Red, I am officially worried now. If nothing else, the names on the banner will be a little less impressive. Mathlete and Rings, two former World Champs were both trying to work things out and could not make it work...so their presence will be sorely missed. I'm still holding out for off-the-street walk ins!
