Unless Snoke was trying to say Kylo would always be to weak to try and overthrow Snoke like Vader did to Palps, so Kylo killed him to show that yeah, he can be another Vader.

Yeah but kylo sucker punched snoke using a force gimmick, vader straight sacrificed himself to protect his son and no maam’d palpatine into a reactor actually using his own 2 hands.

It's not a !@#$ measuring contest, I'm just saying the context of the scene is being interpreted wrong. It's like if your grandfather was Neil Armstrong and you've idolized him since your Teenage years and then one day your Boss walks up and slaps you and says "You're no Neil Armstrong, you'll never walk on the moon". If you're Kylo all of a sudden walking on the moon just became a personal goal of family legacy and honor.

Indeed.

The First Order has (currently) only 13 unique pilots, 15% of whom are the same guy in different ships.

I don't totally object to Kylo being I5, but I'd be surprised if the faction gets no I6 pilot, and given that he actually does stuff, successfully, in a fighter, that looks impressive, I can't see who else there is. I mean, granted, that's him attacking a capital ship, not dogfighting, but still.

I'd like to think the First Order conversion kit will pack at least two more TIE/sf pilots. With 6 already, we don't really need more TIE/fo pilots, because you already can't fit all of them in one squad, and two TIE/vn pilots are probably enough if they're defender-expensive. The TIE/sf, however, is quite realistically a 3-ace squad ship, like the X-wing, and it'd be nice to therefore have, say, 4 unique pilots.

I'd probably vote for Phasma (since there was a 'Phasma's TIE' toy) and TN-3465 (from the comics).

Well if Quickdraw ends up being the i6 ace I guess we can take that as confirmation that she was the wingman who actually didn't pansy out of shooting Leia's ship.
