its 5 red, 4 blue. the reds are always on the left of blue and the black always on the right. thus the side is 3 reds as well.

How long the SSD is. Thanks to @Crabbok

It looks from one of the pictures like it is longer than two of the short edges of the FO and Resistance conversion kit boxes for X-wing 2nd Ed. And as Forgottenlore points out the guy holding it is likely not more than 24" across the shoulders. I'd think at maximum the model is 32" long. The sorts of display cases they've got this in are usually in the 36" to 38" wide range with really big ones (ones that would be getting too big to transport around for shows) getting up to 48".

My guess is in the 26" to 28" range.

I'd guess they'll let us know in the article we're supposed to get today.

The latest article says "over 24". I don't how much over 24" it will be though. One would expect that if it was 25" or more, they'd say so.

I think you're right on the size. I did some math and converted 24" to mm and got 609.5996mm. Going off that my guess is that it is 610mm long. That would make it 24.015761" long. Which is obviously over 24" but between proper fractions of an inch (1/64 = 0.015625 and 1/32= 0.031250) and generally wouldn't make for good copy.

Well, I was going to say that I took a tape measure to the case and, although they wouldn’t open the case and let me properly measure, that it looked like about 25”, but FFG seems to have beaten me to the punch.

And why is that disappointing? It is still very large, and with the sliding scale I think from the photos I have seen it looks good to me. If it was bigger I think it would just look bad.

I couldn't tell ya for paper print outs, but I know Armadafix offers acrylic ship tokens.
