Unless the presenter is very short, I'm guessing more like 3-4 times as long and at least as wide as the ISD is long.

There was a picture on the slide show that had the others next to them. The ISD was very small

I think he's concerned that an SSD would feel like a "pay to win" unit if it's too powerful at $200.

Just like people are concerned about RYA and old Demo MSU spam, I don't blame anyone concerned about balance especially when players will naturally be worried about the implications of a very (monetarily) expensive ship in standard play. And not just for balance fighting against: at $200 Imperial players are going to want a very powerful ship, especially if it effectively represents your entire fleet in standard play.

Shall we start a pool as to how long before @Crabbok posts a video about it?

EDIT: He just posted the whole in flight report, so he'd probably have one up before we got the pool together lol

Honestly, I'm more interested in this for 'Epic' play. That was just so much better a way to play X-Wing, I'm very curious to see what they do with it, here, given the wider potential for the scale of the battle with entire fleets involved.

Something like a more focused/refined Corellian Conflict wouldn't even surprise me a little bit...

Not holding my breath but I really hope FFG will offer a mini expansion that’s just the cards.

Im in the same boat as @Drasnightaon affording this thing. But I will certainly have to try and figure something out! This thing looks beautiful and would be a crown jewel for my collection.

Feel ya, I am very excited about the SSD, I really wanted it for a long time, but at the same time the money I invest in this game is getting bigger and bigger.

I never thought they would release an Epic scale for Armada, I always hoped for a double ISD size SSD that could actively play on the mat and cost around 100. Well, playing against one should be fun as well.

its hard to tell a new player one of the best units in the game is $200. Ideally, it would be perfectly balanced, but I'd prefer a worse ship over a better one even as an imperial player. Plus, it's a pain to transport for me.

Yeah, too rich for my blood. Barring a magical cash influx, I'm not interested.

Definitely more excited to spend on Legion. I don't have time/opponents to play either game, but at least I have fun painting the stuff.
