What’s the FFG schedule look like? When should be expect some news this week about Legion news?
GenCon
Chewbacca operative, Wookiee warriors Q4 2018
some sort of 4 mini expansion trooper upgraded for each favtion
clone wars coming to legion
The 4 mini expansion has generic commanders in it. Makes me hopeful for generic force users.
I need those astromechs in my life
Time for Images:

Anyone catch any of the stats?

They showed them for all. We will find out Wookiees with Chewie tomorrow. The other expansions have those photos out there somewhere.

Yeah they were just really fuzzy.
Guess we will have to wait til the preview articles.
I wonder how the Personal minis will work. Maybe the main one is a generic commander and the other three can be plugged into any trooper unit?

Seems like it.
What the Medical droids do is obvious but I wonder what the astromech's do?
I'm hoping that this paves the way for R2!!

I'm betting that the medical droid obviously heal, the astromechs helps with objective or maybe repairs vehicles, and the random trooper unit acts as an extension to the commander because it looks like they have a communicator of some kind.
Edited by Lumberjack NickMaybe that 4th guy is another heavy weapon option
Chewy has 9 health! While the Wookiees only have 3 ?

Good thinking!

Yeah, but that definitely looks like a non-surging white defense die (only has the top offense surge)
4th Rebel looks like a scout, so I expect it is not a generic heavy weapon, yet. Maybe they are the comms specialist mentioned, since the commanders are also an upgrade AND a unit card it looks like.

That would also explain why the models appear to be holding something to their face.

You and me both. I'm definitely going to buy two of these just to paint the astrodroids up...maybe more depending on my will and what else is announced.

Take this with a grain of salt but looking at the VERY blurry images it looks like the Rebel Officer as a commander is 50-60 points, 4 health with 2 courage, 1 black for melee, black and white for ranged, and has surges for both offense and defense. The Imperial officer seems to be similarly priced, same health and courage, same attack and surges. I think the Imperial Officer is 20 points or theres abouts for the personal upgrade option.

They are literally just personnel upgrades. You can add them into that slot on any unit you have if you have a slot for it, so they replace the opportunity to add another of the generic trooper to your group. The officers just allow you to either add them to a group or take them as a cheap commander.

I suspect/hope it will likely with him coming alongside 3PO.
Looks like both commanders are 50 points and SUPER streamlined, the same minimum Inspire and Sharpshooter then the basic *** version of their faction's prefered token action. The upgrade version is 19-20 points and gives a unit Inspire and becomes their leader. Considering the command cards visible (which seem to be Special Forces & Operative) these guys exist to enable high point units like Operatives and Special Forces by giving you a budget commander.
New keyword on Wookies "Indomitable" roll Red dice for Rally instead of White. Then they have charge, unhindered and expert climber, jeez.
And Chewie has "Team Work" with Han so when you're within 1-2 of Han if one of you gets an Aim or Dodge token so does the other.
Edited by UnitOmega@UnitOmega Of note, those command cards don't require the generic commander. They appear to be able to be taken regardless of your commander, and are faction specific. Which is interesting.
I will say that unless there is a change to the rules so you are required to have a Unique commander in addition to any generic commanders, so much for "Star Wars is about named heroes and villains."
I'm also interested in how they will introduce the new factions given how many units will have been released for the Rebels and Empire by that point.
Looking at that one image all I can say is the minis don't look the best painted, looking forward to actually seeing the sculpts since the Imperial Officer looks a bit like a guy who ate too much puffer face. And sort of wish they went with the sculpt that the officer has for their art, that looks great.

Depends when stuff drops, they could do a large dump of PT stuff and then begin to alternate them between OT and PT paired expansions. I'm looking forward to seeing what the Republic and CIS expansions will be and if they get a starter/faction pack.
