What’s your favorite ship model so far?

By Battlefleet 01 Studios, in Star Wars: Armada

Mine personally is the Interdictor, I love all the detail that FFG managed to get into it. What’s all of your favorite ship models that FFG has produced?

Interdictor as well, it is the ship that got me into Armada. My person favorite in my collection is my ISD 1 that I converted using Mel Minatures conversion kit. I also really like the MC75 on the Rebel side. The other end of the spectrum has no match, the AFM2 is just awful.

The MC30 and Raider are my favorites. They just look cool.

Pelta, by far. Such a gorgeous ship. Second place goes to the Assault Frigate Mk II (yes, genuinely). All of the Mon Cals apart from H1 look pretty cool too.

I'm not a huge fan of the Imperial aesthetic, but there's something about Gozantis that I find really pleasing to the eye.

I'm not a big fan of the paint job on the H1, but the Liberty looks pretty dope in my book.

Tough decision but I think I agree with you, it's amazing looking. Part of me wishes that the Interdictor is a refit of a more standard SD, like how the Immobilizer 418 is a refit of the Vindicator in Legends.

MC75, closely followed by the Gladiator

I have a soft spot for Assault Frigate Mk II as well from playing Empire at War as a kid.

Plus the most fun I've ever had in an Armada game had Dodonna on a Mk II as his flagship, vs a MC80 with Ackbar commanding. They got into a Guarlara vs Invisible Hand style broadside, both augmented with Advanced Gunnery. Lasted 3 Rounds and Dodonna was victorious!

My cousin was stunned that a frigate could do that, and truthfully I was too.

An amazing game, many memories

Arquitens. Rebels did a great job redesigning it from the clone wars series which featured guns in the side of the hull reminiscent of the world war 1 cruisers and dreadnoughts .

It looks so much better in imperial grey with less clutter

I see you love the Tie Intercepter, a fine choice

A Wing is closest to Center frame ?

For my it is the Victory so far, it just like it more than the ISD but they're close to each other

PS.: Is it just me or are the Panels on the underside of the ISD much smaller on the one side compared to the other? I think so, but sometimes I am a bit crossed-eyed.

Arquitens followed by Pelta and Gladiator.

Still the Interdictor, just a bad-a$$ ship design. Just wish it gunned a bit harder...

Home One, MC80, the memories that that ship invoke are beyond just one game... or movie

ROTJ, Empire At War, Rogue Squadron, Rogue Leader Trillogy, I think even Dark Forces featured it during a cutscene.

The ISD, of course, and I'm flummoxed that so few of you are in agreement with this. Probably not real Star Wars fan, then.

That said, I do believe that it should have been longer, compared to its beam (width).

Same here! I'm quite happy with how mine turned out, which means that it was entirely worth it.

Yup, this is true too.
