2.0 is a hoax.

XWM 1.0 will be continuing as expected with SWX-71 Powers of the Force.

There will be new wave 1 Rebel and Imperial ships added.

Currently Scum has the Falcon, Firespray and Fang fighter while Imps and Rebels only have 2 each.

Imperial will probably get the TIE heavy from the Solo film

Rebels will get something new - not sure what.

Might also get info on First order and resistance stuff as well.

The wave 14 of 1.0 counts as their other ships - so each faction has 3. T65/Y/U, LN/Adv/Reaper, fang/YT/Firespray

my predictions? Wave 2 announcement with a few new ships and a look at the FO/Resistance conversions. I don’t expect a ton of news.

most outlandish? If they announce prequel factions too. Or epic conversion coming soon.

That's a good point.

However wave championships will only allow ships from that wave so do we know if the reaper and U-wing are legal for those. They also do not have any quick build cards to use in QB tournaments and the scum falcon does. So from a tournament point of view the rebels and Empire either need some extra QB cards for those ships and clarification they can be used in a wave championship or they will be a ship down.

wave 2. maybe a peak at some ships that will show up in the resistance show.

card packs. as pointed out, the TIE Reaper and Saw's renegades need quickbuild cards. this is how we'll get them.

deluxe wave kit, hyperspace trials, and season 3 prize reveals.

Most outlandish? stand alone unpainted models for customization.

Yes, whatever is released will provide the 1.0 stalwarts with ammunition that 2.0 is a shameless cash grab, and they'll rush to the forums to assert that position.

The ready for 2.0 fan club will see everything released as rewarding their faith in FFG, and that everything will be proof that X-Wing 2.0 is the single greatest gaming achievement ever conceived. They'll rush to the forums to assert that position.

Mid match Frank will hit Alex with a chair, and proceed to fly the Imperial ships off the board one by one proving he's been a rebel sleeper agent the whole time. Thanks to Delta Airlines, I'm going to miss being at the In Flight Report! Hope I can get good internet to watch the stream from the Atlanta Airport. This is a huge bummer as the In Flight Report was one of the things I was most excited about. Also, hope they can still get me to IND tonight. Not a good start for my first GenCon trip!

100%, we're going to see wave 2. X-Wing, Bomber and A-Wing for Resistance, and Upsilon, TIE/fo and TIE Silencer for First Order. The SFs and YT-1300 will be in the conversion kits.

Resistance Bomber will get a massive overhaul compared to 1.0. Crew slots, gunner slots, and new crew/pilot options like Rose and Paige Tico, Holdo and General Leia for Resistance, and Phasma, Snoke and BB-93 for First Order.

Personally hoping for the announcement of Prequel factions for both X-Wing and Armada. On a non-Star Wars note, hoping for some sort of Descent announcement - either 3.0 or new content for Road to Legends, anything!!!

Good luck getting here. That's why I flew in on Tuesday. Just in case there were issues with my flight. Spent today touring the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and visited the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) memorial.

When another ship overlaps you you are destroyed. Give that ship one “jam” token.

Wouldn't Paige be a gunner? She wasn't really piloting. Still could have good synergy with Paige as gunner and Rose as crew. (Caveat: I've not read any of the side fiction that includes these characters.)

Oh yeah. I guess so. Rose probably never played any kind of role on the bombers but I imagine we'll see a crew version of her.

As to outlandish, my dream is that Epic will be released not only as a conversion kit but Epic play is also going to be the AI driven co-op campaign inspired by Heroes of the Aturi cluster.

After seeing what they did with the Bombers and Punishers, I am kind of excited to see what happens with the Resistance Bombers.

I wonder if Rebellion is going to get another expansion.
