Since there’s no “LEGENDARY” subforum, I’ll just drop my Arquitens and Nebulon-B fleet pics here (43 pic Imgur album inside)

Impressive! Most impressive!

So beautiful ships! Your Arquitens is really great. Shouldn't it be a little bigger in size? The Arquitens is 325m and the Raiders and CR-90 are 150m. Yours appears to be about 225m. I know that making it bigger would be a problem for the game, of course. I only point that in this way, with different scales, the cruiser (being impressive as it is) is not getting so impressive as it should be, making it more than double the lenght of the main Imperial and Rebel corvettes (not the Hammerhead). But I really admire your work and envy it. Congratulations!

On the Imperial side I have a Lancer-class frigate (250m) approximately the same size than your cruiser, a Raider, a Gozanti, a Empress-class personal corvette (really an Imperial Star Destroyer converted and adapted to play in the game as a personal corvette of 160m for Moffs, like the old Carrion Spike of Grand Moff Tarkin), and a TK-4 Fleet Transport (about 200m). I'm working in a Star Galleon-class frigate (300m) and a Carrack-class light cruiser (350m) and I'm making them with the same scale that the Raider and the other official huge ships.

On the Rebel side I have a Nebulon-B too, with a CR-90 corvette, a DP-20 light frigate (the Corellian gunship), a Medium transport, an Action VI transport and a Marauder-class corvette. I'm looking after a Hammerhead corvette myself, followed by a Pelta-class frigate (like Phoenix Home).

I'm thinking about letting some of my ships to go to the "other side": the Nebulon-B could be an Imperial frigate, given that the Rebels got theirs stealing them from the Imperials; and the same for the Marauder and the CR-90 corvettes. Of course, there is "the third way", that of the Scum and Villainy: I have a C-ROC cruiser and a Mobquet transport , too; the Action VI, the DP-20 and the Marauder could go easily with them.

Your already impressive Imperial fleet would get more impressive with an Imperial Nebulon-B, don't you think so? But then, your fleets would get uneven. As they are, I think the odds are with the Imperial fleet, although there are more turbolasers with the Rebels...

Kind regards and congratulations again!

First, I didn't make the Arquitens. It's a commissioned scratch build from Kenneth Lonnberg at The Alternative Wargamer. It's true that it's small but it adheres to FFG's sliding scale for Huge ships. The larger the ship, the more the scale slides and the more out of scale it gets. However, I wanted the ship to be playable so it couldn't be much larger without dominating the space on the mat.

I've seen your Lancer-class Frigate. I'm jealous. Want to sell it? Lol. Initially, before ordering the Arquitens, I tried to get a Lancer scratch-built but was told by two separate sources that it was too difficult. Congratulations on proving them wrong! In the end, I just needed a ride for Grand Admiral Thrawn for a custom scenario I'm working on. The Arquitens works perfectly in this role given that Thrawn used one in the Rebels TV show but I was planning on using a Lancer because I actually like the design and have some nostalgia for the original Thrawn trilogy. I'm more than happy with my Arquitens, though.

My Nebulon-B has 5 sets of cards, including and Imperial set:

@weisguy119 At the top of the Painting and Mods subforum there is a sticky'ed Showcase Index. Near the bottom of the index is a link for posting your awesome fleets.

@Thrawn1995 I'd love to see a pic of your fleet arrayed like weisguy's.

I only post my own work in that forum. As proud as I am of my collection, most of my customs are the commissioned work of others. I'd feel like I was trying to take credit for their work if I were to post it in that forum.

I'm more of a large-scale scenario builder than a scratch builder or painter. I do some of my own work, though, and I post that stuff in the painting and mod forum but I don't post the work of others there in my name.

I like to think of myself as a tabletop Cinematic Play director who employs some really talented actors in my custom scenarios. I always try to give credit where due, though.

Also, I'd really love to see Thrawn1995's fleets lined up for some Epic photo ops as well.

My fault! I would be more than happy with it too! I see that you have thought of taking the Nebulon-B as an Imperial ship too.

I have that same kind of nostalgia. Have you read the new novels on Thrawn by Timothy Zahn? Those are good. I fear that Rebels TV show is only for kids and teenagers. Most of the stories told there are nonsense. This is what I feared when Disney took control: they use as canon some stories for kids... This is what I call Disney Star Worse... But the Arquitens is good.

Have you thought of making two opposing Imperial fleets? One, the loyalist one, with Grand Admiral Thrawn; the other, with the rebel Imperial Grand Admiral Zaarin?

Oh! I will do it, indeed! But first I must complete my design and painting work on the Star Galleon frigate and the Carrack cruiser. Then, I think I will take the pics of my complete Imperial fleet.

I read the first new Thrawn novel and was disappointed by how much of the book was stolen by Governor Pryce. I have 3 chapters left to read in Alliances and I feel it has too much Padme and that Vader's interactions with Thrawn seem out of character for him somehow. It just feels off to me.

Don't get me wrong, I hope Zahn keeps writing Thrawn books. I'll read every one of them as Thrawn is my favorite Star Wars villain. However, I still prefer classic Thrawn - before Disney watered him down into Thrawn 2.0. Still, new Thrawn is better than no Thrawn. Rumor has it he might be in Episode 9. That would be EPIC! If this is true, they need to get Warwick Davis to reprise his role as Rukh (CGI with voiceover).

I hated the Rebels show, at first, but Tarkin, Maul and Thrawn drew me into it. I ended up somewhat liking it, to be honest.

I haven't really thought of making an Imperial defector fleet but I was thinking of trying to find a way to incorporate Admiral Zaarin in my asteroid base scenario as the leader of the base (before his defection). I still might.

Epic is anything over 150 500 points. But yeah Legendary Epic, Mega-Epic, insane I am going to put the Executor in X-wing format. Sure it can go anywhere.

Speaking of Legendary.;)

I love the debris fields!

Thanks! I got them from an Etsy shop. I requested the GR-75 look like the one that slammed into the Devastator in Rogue One. The creator even watched the film to get a better idea of how to make the wreck more authentic. It was his idea to add the scattered cargo containers as extra debris. He REALLY knocked it out of the park!
