Deadly Accuracy Question (ranked?)

By Exogorth, in Game Masters

i was building NPC for another GM I know we had 500 xp to play with so was making them a Bounty Hunter Gadgeteer turned Gunslinger. Both of the Specializations have Deadly Accuracy.

Is it a ranked Talent?

Would you make a PC choose a second skill if they picked it up a second time?

Or would you let the damage be added a second time?

example: NPC has Ranged Light skill of 4

wpn damage of 6 adds

with the first Deadly Acc add +4 dmg

with a second Deadly Acc add another +4dmg?

I'm mostly curious how others would handle this.

Each rank allows another skill to be selected. It is not allowable to select the same skill twice.

Yes, it is a ranked talent.

No, you cannot choose the same combat skill twice.

Yeah, as a general rule make sure to read the long descriptions in the talents section. It clears up so many things.

Quoted For Truth. The descriptions on the talent trees are just as a reminder of the basic mechanics during play.

Except for the Essential Kill talent in the Executioner tree. There the full text is just confusing crap.

EDIT: Oh, and the full description for Hard Headed (Improved) from Knights of Fate where it inexplicably is different from its previous versions.
