Arcs everywhere, PS low, no action mines, the great Jam-Poe-Ree!, and Raptor Attack being eaten by 4+ xwings,it's a Kylo party! Sadly, I could attend only the 3 that I did out of the many available store champs this season, but it was fun (and even in the loss, Kylo didn't die)!

Now that's a nice PS 10 you have there, Nym! It would be a shame if someone made it a 0 by your own doing, forcing you to play with 0 info bombing, as if you were slammed into 2 edition's system phase a bit early....Holy cow, there were Nyms everywhere.

Is this Phil H.'s list that's been running around? I'm seriously tempted to put this one on the table.

It's just a shame that there's no room for some QD expertise or 'poons. She loves that stuff!

Yes, I stole the archetype from him after seeing it on Adepticon streams. When I altered it (because I don't have adaptability) in March, I stripped Countdown (small nerf) and added VI (big buff) and primed thrusters (huge buff) to Quickdraw. It has also served me well at Campaign against Cancer and Origins.

How did countdown feel about all of Nym and Miranda's TLT action?

His callsign then refers to turns alive and not shots taken, especially without the lightweight frame that Phil runs him with (if you're skilled enough, Phil's version is better, but I need the training wheels of primed thrusters and VI on my light Quickdraws). However, most viable Nyms now run autoblaster to make room for their friends' toys, but Final Form still of course runs with TLT. If you face a 100 pt Miranda, you can block her friends or arc-dodge them (inotiative pending) to make the best of his demise by tlt.

Since Countdown is short-lived in such a situation, him dying fast is hopefully as a result of the opponent not firing a missile, as spike damage is clutch in the early game. This means Quickdraw becomes more dangerous with more shields at more unsavory moments, whilst Kylo flies a little ballsier and dealing hefty damage before his typical aggression in the endgame. You can capitalize on this by baiting Nym into catching Kylo in arc, but such that it is R1 (no guidance chips and some pain following) or at R3 [hopefully behind a rock] (autos, focus, and title making sure the harpoon takes only a shield): either way, the dark side is shown. With fire divided and more resources put into ending the annoying and aggressive Countdown whilst Kylo hides for the moment so as to properly reengage later, you can often trade just 20 pt Countdown (and some of the First Order shields) for 40+ pt of Nym or Miranda. But if you face Final Form instead of just Nym or just Miranda, then the endgame if properly worked is Kylo having at Miranda, albeit desperate to beat the clock.

But to each their own. Each Kylo loadout can be flown differently, and even the same loadouts can vary in playstyle.

I dig it! Nice job, sir!!

Update: the Kylo nerf hurts in the feels, but is best for the game, especially with only arcs/mobile arcs. As such, I will do my best to make it to more store champs and give the lad a proper farewell. And he's only 2 waves old.... :(
