Prediction - wave 2 including the FO and Resistance conversion kits, some reprints of old 1.0 ships, maybe word on the new cards will make their way to players who don’t want to rebuy 1.0 models in 2.0

Unlikely Hope - First Order kit is 3x FOs, 2x SF, 1-2 Silencer and 1x Upsilon, hope Resistance is 3x t70, 1x Falcon, 1-2x bomber

I hope there's at least an acknowledgement of epic, ideally a teaser for an upcoming Scum ship and an idea of some changes to the rules, but at minimum an idea of when (what quarter) and how (conversion kits?).

I expect we'll get some information on the FO and Resistance conversion kits and wave of ships, though.

I think they'll definitely announce when the FO and Resistance kits are coming but I'm less certain that they'll be alongside wave 2. It might even occur between regular waves.

I'm hopeful that we'll find out what's coming in both waves 2 and 3 but expect only the wave 2 portion announced.

My out of left field hope is that at the end we'll get a teaser of GR vs CIS factions (even if it's just their emblems on a screen, or a mockup of a new core set).

It makes sense, since the wave 2 deluxe kit is being advertised as December. It’d be very hard for them to sneak these kits in between now and December.

I hope so, but I’m worried they will not give us enough of the small base to ty and drive multi kit purchases or buying the new ships. Basically, if I can’t get 3x t70 in the Resistance pack I am less likely to buy it and would rather try to find someone to pawn them off on in trade for other models because I never bought the bomber and I’m ok with keeping my YTs rebel. The FO pack if they do 2 Fo/1 sf/1 silencer/1 ups I may be inclined to buy 2 kits if cheap enough but only because I own enough FO stuff I could (mostly) get value out of it. I couldn’t get enough value out of a 2nd Resistance kit if they only do 1-2 t70 in that box.

Expecting rehash of why 2.0, iteration of release schedule, announcement of next full wave including a new ship plus next rereleased wave that doesn't include new ships (if they're doing that to speed up rerelease).

General info about the asmodee sale and how it won't affect anything.

Hoping for epic transition to 2.0 info.

Expect:

X-Wing: Wave 2 and Resistance and FO conversions mentioned/shown off

Legion: Next release revealed, likely Chewie and some melee special forces unit

IA: Nothing since they still have their expansion coming.

Armada: "Something BIG is coming..." TM

Hope:

X-Wing: Same as above, maybe announce Clone Wars era coming in the future to play off of the momentum from Clone Wars coming back.

Legion: Same as my expectation

IA: Ditto

Armada: An actual bit of news, either Clone Wars ear being added or SSD. Or at the very least Wave 8.

I am guessing Descent 3.0 is going to be their big Gencon game.

We will get a better idea of how Waves will be composed of, I suspect that they will be a bit more fluid in how many ships, or even if a faction is represented, in each release.

Wave 2 will have the Resistance A-Wing and a First Order TIE Bomber alongside re-releases of the current ships for both factions and the conversion kits.

Personally I really hope that "I'll show you the dark side" is completely gone in 2.0. It was too strong as a crew action and too weak as a pilot ability (because the opponents basically dictates how it gets used). I really hope 2.0 Kylo gets some cool new abilities.

Was the bomber ever seen in a canon source? I’m not counting the holograms in TLJ on the stolen arms dealer ship, because it looked like a bunch of old empire ships plus the t70 (also considered older just not quite as old by that time). Wouldn’t be a bad companion to the existing FO lineup, but not sure if there’s a source for it yet.

I want ISYTDS gone too, but I don’t have much faith that it will be. It will likely be a little different in some capacity, but Krennic 2.0 taught us ffg fully plans on keeping their conditions alive and well in 2.0 - maybe as the crew it will stay but nerfed to match the new power level? And then the pilot has a new ability that’s more fitting?

I doubt that, not with FFG trying to pump out Legion at the pace they are and when they are trying to direct all attention to X-Wing 2.0. I'd be happy to hear news about the game or what the next release is but I sort of expect we will get a 'Stay tuned' or a 'Something BIG is coming this time, we really promise and we don't mean the wait.'

There shouldn't be anything new. Just get the new old stuff out as soon as possible.
