I have started putting together quick build cards with the upgrades on the card. TIE/ln are done, more will follow over the next couple weeks.

Looks good. An improvement could be to have your template fit into the same size of a game card. This way they could be printed, used and even sleeved like FGG's cards.

I did Start with that idea but fitting things in became difficult, impossible tbh. With a couple pilots like Vader, they have so many upgrades in the quick build I have had to make them larger again (increasing the width by 4.5cm) to allow an extra column of upgrades.

i had also played around with larger images on the cards and text boxes overlapping, but I wasn’t happy with the image quality.

the sizes I have made are 63.5 x 130, so you can fit a sleeve on it but 40mm sticks out of the end, the couple cards that are larger (so far Vader and Thane Kyrell) are 63.5 x 175, so you could do 2 sleeves and it fits lol. They will however slot into a folder with card pockets as long as you don’t put them on the top row ?

Fitting into a standard game size should be doable but you would probably need to restructure things around. The current layout has a lot of empty space.

For example, these 1.0e Quickbuild cards have a ton of content and do fit into the regular card size:

I am really into Quickbuild cards and am debating whether to upgrade to 2.0e. Having fan-made 2.0e Quickbuild cards, like the ones you are working on, would make it easier for people to jump into 2.0e with only buying a conversion kit.

Consider reducing the size of the artwork slightly, or if you're not willing to do that, size it for tarot-sized cards for which FFG sells sleeves.

Tarot sized cards are a good idea, I will give that a try next week.

what size are tarot cards? if they are bigger than the mini sized ones i am all for it as i have "old eyes" lol

They are 70mm x 120mm. I will be doing all quick build cards to this size going forward. (however the text is quite small so you may need your reading glasses ?)

I have worked out an adjusted layout on cards of this size and I can fit Thane Kyrell and Vader's upgrades on them.

The Tie/ln is redone to this size has been uploaded and is awaiting approval on BGG.

A call for help

With the massive amount of quick builds just uploaded it would take me many hours to produce enhanced cards for them.

If anyone is willing and able to help please pm me.
