Ok guys, I'm tired to play with the same old list, and I want to shock my tournament opponents!
Waiting for a new wave...or maybe just rumors for a new wave, I will play this insane formation.
My task is simple, I'm the first player (with this bid I hope so...), I must get in front of a juicy prey, disable all its defenses with Impetuous, hopefully Iwith nterceptors, and Suppressor, wich in the same time will switch the command dial of the target to a command of my taste, and finally annihilate it with Avenger....same mechanics of previous Sloane/Avenger based lists, with a very complicate strategy.
I've put Ordnance Experts on Avenger rather then Boarding Troopers to get the black Crit that I need for APT.
If I can maneuver well enough to get in ranger with the Raider and Suppressor, I can disable almost everything, and if it is not enough I can throw in the melee Ciena Ree and Howlrunner for an Accuracy.
Andiral Montferrat, on the Raider, will give to it some chance for surviving against the short range fire.
Suppressor, with Tua, ECM and Slicer Tool is mostly for fun!

Feels janky, I would drop Sloane in favor of Jerry for your list, those TIE/is won't last long enough in a single game to make Sloane worthwhile. Otherwise the build looks strong, good luck with it!

hmmmm .... Jerry, interesting choice, why not Motti at this point?
I think that Jerry would be exploited only by the Avenger, while with Sloane I thought to turn off some defense token, in case the opponent has a limited fighter screen.
Otherwise the Squadrons will be a deterrent to keep at short range from my flagship.

Well, I'm thinking about swapping the commander, I guess that several Admirals could fit to this list: Motti, Screed, Ozzel ...
With Motti I could also think of going by second making a list of 400 points.
Screed instead could guarantee those crits that I need.
Ozzel for the assault maneuvers obviously.
At this point I could ask you which Admiral would you play with this list?

Screed and lighten the Raider - drop the title and maybe Montferrat. Switch the BTs to Darth Vader and the Overload Pulse to HIEs. You could drop the SW7s on the Kuat. I don’t think they add much value.

Sw7 are only for automatic damage, if I can get double arch, with a Concentrate Fire, I have 4 damage guaranteed, then I just need a double and three normal hits with the black dice, and the game is done!
That's 9 damage, plus the APT card.
Every ship between a Rebel Transport and a MK II is destroyed.
At this point, everything that comes in more, from the red dice, is gold, with 12 total damage and no defense, any ship evaporates ....except for an ISD.
With only the front, could be a good 7/8 total hits plus APT card.
Other Ion upgrade are useless, Leading Shot take me away one more die for the reroll, Overload Pulse cannot trigger Avenger for the first shot, and HIE require to resolve another crit....
For the Raider, I play with Montferrat very often, mostly on Demolisher, and I find it very useful, especially at close range, and Impetuous is for the Flak.
But I see your point.

Sloane and the BTs seem a bit redundant. Also there is only 6 dice to use Sloane's ability seems a bit low

I’m just thinking in terms of any marginal upgrades that may or may not matter. Montferrat is fine, I’ve also used him on Demo, but I just like to keep Raiders really light on upgrades. They don’t tend to last long for me when I’m using them. SW7s are also fine, but not mandatory in my mind.

This seems like you've taken the sloane bt-avenger concept, and made the simple direct bt-avenger single activation a lot harder to get off because now it requires combo-ing 2-or-more activations to get your ideal results - first player isn't worth as much if you can't use that first activation to its full potential.

Raider is a sub optimal host for Boarding Troopers. You can only exhaust as many tokens as your squadron value (1). You're better off using Vader to take out an ECM or similar.

The TIEs aren't enough of a presence to really justify using Sloane - they won't kill through any substantive fighter screen in time to help Avenger out - and you're a little short on squadron commands to actually push them - you get 4 off your gozantis, but unless you're also pushing squad command out the Kuat (who probably wants to Nav), you'll have 1/3 of your TIEs sitting on their hands.

The SW-7s aren’t worth it. Go for Leading Shots to control your black dice, then consider BTs for the weapons slot (or maybe even Vader.) If you’re trying to survive close range fire with a Raider-II, something’s gone wrong. Disposable Capacitors is 2 points less and allows you to play the Raider carefully rather than being forced into danger through the high speed you’re maintaining with Monty. (Technically Brunson reduces more damage with decent planning, if you go that way.). The squads are a little underwhelming for Sloane; as a personal rule, I never spend under 110 points in squads, because if they die, you’ve wasted your admiral. Also, there’s a reason Interceptors are rare competitively; they’re horrible against ships. Every other squadron in the game either hits ships harder point for point, or eats flak better. Most importantly, though: what part of the defense token spending is reliable? The Raider has to get into unfavorable ranges for BTs and score a crit for Overload Pulse, before the ISD activates. The Interceptors have no Intel, and are susceptible to getting tied up/destroyed by generic X-wings and Jan or a Thrawn bomber wing. I’d only trust Suppressor, and even that’s situational. It’s best to keep a plan as fail proof as possible, I’d work on streamlining and boosting that fighter wing.

Drop Howlrunner for Mauler. Screed or Jerjerrod would still be a better choice than Sloane with these fighters.

Better for sure. I’d ditch Brunson since you went with the capacitor route (good call) and sink your bid into fighters. With the defense token screwage Sloane is a good choice, but these squads are still inadequate. A 6 tie screen gets more Sloane antiship value. A 22 point bid is almost crazy. If that’s your meta, learn how to go second, build to 400 and obliterate them by having good objectives and more stuff. ? Dropping the advanced is smart. The wing can find a middle ground between tanky and glass cannon. That gives you 51 points to play around with. I’d spend it on 5 ties and Black Squadron, but that’s personal playstyle and you have tons of choices. Mauler+Valen+Maarek? Jendon+Maarek+Black/a bid? 3 phantoms and Black? Any of these gives you better value from the admiral, and helps the core concept of the fleet.

I used to field something very similar, only with an ISD-II and a bunch of Howl+FC buffed generic TIEs instead of aces. It was always my first choice for a tourney, and still holds a special place in my heart.

This is the actual 2.0 of the original. ISD II is a better avenger. Before FAQ the squadron win was lighter and there was a third gozanti. Post FAQ I got 25 points for squadrons and SAd. On the other hand, sensor net lost one claimed token per round. Still not tried this version.

I played a tournament with a very similar list with ISD II/Avenger, Quasar and over 100 points of squadrons, and I must say that it worked pretty well and I enjoyed it.
But, what I would like to do now is to make an insane list, based only on Avenger and Suppressor, set in this way, focused on coordinating ships to disable enemy defenses, rather then using squadrons, and finally find an admiral that fits the list.
My initial idea of using Sloane is due to the fact that it costs only 24pts, and can give a little contribution even with a limited number of squadrons, as I said, my fighter screen is a deterrent that I want to fly next to Avenger, it is not intended as an assault force, so my list is not based on Sloane.
For this reason, I want to know if you would play, alternatively, my list with Motti for extra hulls, Screed for the Crits that I need, or at last Jerry and Ozzel for maneuvers.

Exhausting just one brace it will hit really hard, thanks to Vader and its own 6+1(CF) red dice. That's almost 7 non-braceable dmg what basically means 2 on the hull for the first shot on the biggest dudes. Demo who likes first too. Slicer to deal with squadrons (Demo could be upgraded to Glad-II at the price of ETs what would not be a problem), a raider and the big shot I already talked about. I don't know how well it will perform but it seems fun to play.

I think I'll do two tests, I'll try your "have fun" list commanded by Darth Vader, with a couple of minor modifications, then I'll play a game with my list, probably with Motti, to get some feedback about which one is more effective!
