Am I correct in thinking that if Krennic is on Major Stridan, Stridan can aquire a TL at range 3 of the Optimized Prototype?

Optimized Prototype

Increase your shield value by 1.

Once per round, when performing a primary weapon attack, you may spend 1 die result to remove 1 shield from the defender.

No, it is not an Action or Upgrade card on Major Stridan granting the effect, its a Condition placed on a different ship.

Thanks. That helped me understand it more when I looked his wording again with that in mind;

Stridan is the you in that part. He sees them at range 1 but the Optimized Prototype still sees them at range 3.
