Hello friends! When tickets went on sale for the Armada tourney I was unable to purchase any due to a foolish prior commitment. Thankfully those plans have fallen through! Does anyone on here have or know of a tournament ticket that's not going to get used? I would be very interested in purchasing it if so. Sorry if this isn't the right way to go about this. This would be my first major (non regionals) tournament. Thanks for your patience in advance with this forum newbie!

You can always try to register at the tournament itself, using a comparable number of generic tickets. if some of the registered people do not show, they will open those spots to people on the wait list.

That said, this probably won't work. I'll be trying to do the same thing. This year FFG assigned the fewest number of tickets ever to their Gencon tourney, with only 40 seats (in the past, I think there's usually been 60 or more seats, but I could be wrong). Couple that with the fact that Gencon Event Registration went live when many players were traveling home from FFG Worlds and were not able to log-in and complete their carts, and you've got a chunk of players who are likely interested in the event but were unable to get a ticket and may then also be trying to wait-list at the event.
