Why is the TIE V1 linked action so?

Ok hands up I was being facetious. And I hand forgotten about the Turret Action. But that being said no ship has a linked action that allows two re-position actions.

Apart from the linked actions with Turret in them. You will either get a Lock, Focus, or Evade Token and a Stress Token in the end, hence my humor of two tokens.

A Wings and TIE/ins beg to differ.

They don't have any linked actions

They have ship abilities that let them link repositioning actions off ANY of their actions.

I'm aware of that, but it sounded like those are exceptions rather than the rule. At least, to me.

It's the only instance of a generic force user that we currently have, I imagine that's why it was brought up at that point, in conjunction with it having a 'Talent' counterpart pilot in the Baron. That and as @Magnus Grendel mentioned all of the force user quick build cards we've seen so far have force powers, is what I based that assumption on anyway. We'll see if that's really the case in a few weeks (I'm hoping we get the app at/around gencon).

I seem to remember one of the articles mentioning that Vader can use talents. Could be wrong. Dunno.

If that is the case, he's definitely the pilot you would think to have both.

I'd like to think that there is a gradient to them, because it adds so much to the game (and helps differentiating between all the Jedi pilots if the Republic ever gets added)

Like this:

Generic Force User: Force Power

Lower Ini Force User: Force Power + Ability

High Ini Force User: Force Power + Talent + Ability

It could also help differentiating between Powerful Jedi who are not great pilots (Obi-Wan) who could easily lack the Talent slot (but make up for it with 3 Force and an Ability)

It's not in any of the second edition news articles on the FFG page. It'd be scary if he can; a combination of afterburners/supernatural reflexes and daredevil, for example.
