Not fast enough!

For the record this is from the new Star Wars Comic. The art is kind of hit or miss but the story so far has been top notch. PLUS THEY JUST SET UP A DARTH VADER HAN SOLO STARFIGHTER DUEL!

(I also actually like most of the new Mon Cal designs, I just really hate the snout on the mon cal in the middle of the first pic)

Yeeaaaaaaaa, Mon Cal ships are over running the rebel fleet, where the old way, there were just capital ships, and there were more Corellian Engineering Corporation vessels instead. But what do you expect from Lazy modern creators, lets draw a bunch of easy bubble ships I can make up in the bath with soap and water instead of really be creative with the design and details.

I just like seeing more canon ships in this timeline... More ships equals more expansions equals more 'Mada!

I agree with your broad point, but thanks to Solo: A Star Wars Film it looks like the CEC is basically an Imperial resource at this point, with the Empire controlling Corellia.


Still, there are a lot of other planets and groups out there that could (and should) be making ships. My biggest beef with the sequel trilogy has been how empty the universe felt. This was a bit true of Solo as well. Like, they make starships seem incredibly rare. Like, you get the impression that with all the trouble they go to get Lando ("oh, a guy with a ship!") that personally-owned starships must be incredibly rare. Everyone is hitchin' rides and like no one in the Crimson Hand organization had a ship, aside from the giant yacht-base thing. By The Last Jedi, the entire Resistance is explicitly noted to have only three ships. THREE SHIPS. Counting the fighters, the Resistance had maybe forty fighters tops, and now has only one freighter. That is absurd.


There are over 1 Billion personally-owned passenger cars in the world today at this moment. One little planet. 1 Billion cars, not counting all of the trucks, trains, ships, planes, and military vehicles.


Yet, the Disney-era movies have made it seem like encountering another starship in the galaxy of inter-stellar travel is exceedingly rare, and that finding a ship is actually a hard task.

What do you expect from Disney, they turned starwars as a whole into a joke, and I personally KNEW this would happen the moment they decided to give EA exclusive rights to the games alone, and the first Disney Wars Movie, it was a complete flop in my eyes, and I cant say I even liked any of it, outside of the Falcon Flight Scene through the SSD Engine, but then again, the flight through the Death Star II Still did it better.

However I really want 3 little things before we get more Mon Cal ships.
