OT: Going to Gen Con!

By Lord Ashram, in Star Wars: Legion

Hey all!

Just excited... going to Gen Com for the first time next week!

Got a new company I started with a buddy, where we can scan your head and make you into a wargames miniature, and we signed a pretty major sponsorship deal with Gen Con... so we will be there!

Here is my buddy Mike, who I started the company with, and a Miniature You of him as a Norman Knight!

Here is Mike scanning a customer, and the Dwarf Warrior Miniature You we made for him.

Here is a preview with a "dummy" head of one of the TWENTY figures we are releasing AT GEN CON... namely, an entire collection of role playing bodies, both male AND female, that we can make you into!

We will have about 40 different figures to choose from at Gen Con, including these two Sci Fi guys (with dummy heads)...

... an ENTIRE range of historical figures...

... and yes, even a figure that might work for your favorite Star Wars tabletop game!

Our scans are FREE, and the figures are only about $25 apiece:)

So please do come by and see us! Our monster booth will be right at LucasOil stadium, right as you step out of the big connecting walkway between the stadium and the main convention center, right outside the True Dungeon.

Anyone else here going to Gen Con?

I go each year, and I was actually interested in your company from its ad in the newsletter ?

Just a small recommendation to enhance the professionalism of your company's posts, Gen Con is correctly two words. Best luck in your endeavors!

Hah! Okay, thanks for the corrrection, and hope to meet you there... I’ll be the chatty guy in front of the booth!:)

This looks cool! You should make figures that would work for Legion. Like a Squad Leader, Heavy Weapons trooper, or Commander.

Great idea, I second it.

Well, we do have a figure that would work... while he is intended to be more of a Steampunk samurai (he comes with both katanas and pistols) he also comes with solar blades that might work?

The top left lights- er, solar sword, and the open "force push" hand would make for a good force user.

I would totally go for that, but will you have it at the correct scale for Legion?

Hey!

We 3D print, so we can print at ANY scale. We did a 120mm version of that Union officer, a 125mm version of our Viking, a bunch of 60mm Romans, a 90mm Napoleonic French Colonel, and a ton of 60mm Armored and Hellspawn Legionnaires to use as trophies for tournaments!:) Legion is 35mm to the eye, so that's easy enough!

Oh, and we have some female figures too, including the Space Ronin I posted above.

Oh man. I know my friends would freak out over something like this. You're based out of NJ, correct? Oh man, this is totally a doable gift.

Hi, very cool concept! Just curious what kind of 3d printer you guys use?

Yep, NJ! And we've had a few people do them as gifts... one older gent did himself as a Roman General in 60mm and gave them to his three adult daughters for Christmas:)

Would be awesome to get one done as a Rebel Commando, Pilot or Jedi. You should go with this.
