I believe you’ve misspelled “Hyperspace Assault.”? Why Blount? Cheap scatter? I’ll be honest: Expanded Launchers is a hard sell for me vs External Racks. With ER, you can trigger ACMs reliably out the side, too. Nothing is likely to survive long enough for the launchers to have really made the difference. The ten points you’d save could be a strong bid (just because Rieekan doesn’t need first player doesn’t mean you can’t deny it to them,) a boosted squadron complement (if you can fit Hera, rogue Shara and Tycho is tons of fun,) or a downgraded squad group and another combat ship.

You hit the nail! I was 50/50 on hyperspace assault, and precisely the reason for blount, cheap scatter and pad out squadrons.

I was always thinking of External racks for the points save, i think you're right about only really needing it once and a 10 point bid would help force 2nd. Cheers bud

I would drop EL on the Aspiration, maybe ER or upgrade Blount to someone useful.

Your list should do well, you just have to fly it and adapt to the situation. Run from dual ISD, prioritize Sloane carrier...the MC75 and a titled MC30 are top tier rebel ships. Good choices.

It's on a 6 nil win streak atm :D just the squadrons I'm always having trouble picking...

Dropping EL for ER is solid though! I fly it hammer and anvil style, playing a pincer move with 75\30 approaching from opposite flanks, it forces you to pick the Mc30 have it eat damage and let the 75 go unchecked or target the 75 and allow the 30 to fly around dropping ships like flies... Speed 2 min, and only taking navigate commands on the 75 and 30. DCO really brings the 75 into its own league..

For the squadrons, it can be super helpful to have a sort of “force projection” in the late game to finish off limping enemies in a way that your two heavy hitters just can’t. What do you think about Shara, Tycho, 3x YT2400s, and either Dash or Ketsu? It’s only a few points more, which you can make up with your planned switch from ELs to ExRacks. Those Rogues, especially Dash and Ketsu, can drop the last few damage of an ISD or whatever and perhaps turn a close game into a blowout.

Played it last night, rolled 10 damage plus acms with the mc75 front arc + racks... It was nasty as i acc'd the brace

Took out a Vader cymoon isd, all their squads, and put some shield damage on a demolisher.. Lost rouge squadron and tycho.. So all in all a good day for the Rebel Alliance

got a store champs soon where I'll be fielding it..

How do you like the ACM's vs using APT's? 2 points cheaper for the APT's.

I am working on a similar list that uses APTs but it is a Dodonna crit farm fleet. I will share if interested but wont derail OP with it unless asked ?

I love ACMs for stripping shields and still providing damage after, and having it on two ships each turn is a possible 4 extra damage! However with Dodonna APTs are better due to you be able to pick a critical yourself, such as structural damage.. and sure pop the list down!

Switched out RR for External Racks on the 75 and added ER to the HH. Took second at a SC this weekend. Had a rough first game with a 6-5 W, then went 8-3, 10-1. Good luck at your SC!
