Kanan & Ezra CARDS FULLY SPOILED

By Rogue Dakotan, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

That's some kickass cards. I am very excited about "Doubt" in particular.

Protect the Old Ways seems like it could be fun to screw around with, too.

I'm going to have to actively try not to have Rule by Fear, Zillo and Doubt in my imperial lists; or maybe just give in and accept my imperial lists will be 37 points. I think my favorite of this set of cards is Dying Lunge, more help for slower melee figures is great.

Dying Lunge is one of my two cards.

What does "deplete" mean?

Once per game or once per turn?

Quoted for awesomeness.

When a card is depleted, it is flipped facedown and cannot be
used for the remainder of the mission. At the end of each mission,
all depleted cards are flipped faceup.

Also, once depleted, also the other ability of Doubt no longer exists.

Doubt is going to break the game open. With the unfortunate side effect now being every list is going to effectively start with 39 points instead of 40. 38 for Imps of course. At least they put it in the $12 xpac instead of the $40 one.

While we're talking rules, does Ezra's "Turn it to any side instead" mean the die counts as being rerolled?

I would say, due to "instead" it would not count as a reroll as written. (Otherwise there would be something else instead of instead . I can't be fully certain whether that was the original intention though without asking.)

Not counting as a reroll makes it both a little more powerful (no Tough Luck) and a little less powerful (Guardian Stance).

How Doubt really reads:

"At the end of the round, you may choose a hostile figure and remove Focus from that figure."

Figures must should try to spend their focused (or hidden ) on the same round they get them. Round 1 is not for getting ready for a big bang on round 2 anymore.

Thanks!

They really picked some awesome art for it too, which is pretty cool.

Wow. My recovery list is gonna go through the roof with this pack and Doubt? I love this card!

Would’ve been nice of them to identify them as such with a bit of text no? They do that for champion created cards in their other games all the time...

also; Great Card!

No love for hidden? :P

Also, I really love the theme they are putting on the Force User CCs. I'm impressed with the diversity they've managed with CCs and making each trait seem very unique.

yeah, RIP DAVITH ?

Does anyone see Second Chance being good for Chewie lists? Like since Chewie gets picked on. With MHD you can now save people with on the lam, miracle worker, and second chance= insane = I hope @kennydkbrown doesn't get carried away... ?

Maul using Dying Lunge might be interesting.

I was more referring to eISBs, love those guys, they're one of the very few Imperial units that can target white dice with confidence from their Deadly ~: -dodge and ~: Hide, in other words they're a bit like eSnow and eTrando which I really like: once you get the ball rolling you can continue to self-focus/hide
