This event is hosted by JIGG Tokyo, the biggest board game group in the Tokyo area, usually responsible for the regular X-Wing tournaments too.
It is also meant to be a farewell tournament to 1.0, so come with the combo you loved to play in 1.0 because its gonna be the last time to use it!

Do you guys have access to kits?

I actually don't live in Osaka, but I have played there when I visited. I'm reaching out to Makato-san of JIGG Kansai to see if he does.

I think the guys down there do regular tournaments, but make their own alt art cards. Some of them pretty nice too, someone made a post with them in the main forums once.
