Anyone else preorder the priority supplies expansion from miniature market?

thwy still show it awaiting release but FFG now shows it as awaiting reprint?

wondering if anyone that preordered from MM was able to revived the expansion?

I was just at their retail store yesterday and heard they never received fleet troopers due to the supply issues. Not sure about priority supplies, but may be similar.

Man I am really regretting that I cancelled all my preorders through FFG and reordered everything at MM thinking it would save me money as I could pick up as I too am in st louis

I assumed they only took preorders for what they were guaranteed to get on release. Well I guess I learned the hard way... boo

Well it is out. My pre-order came in last week. Likely they didn't order/weren't allotted enough.

I've used miniature market for years, from early armada to now. They didn't get their allocation of fleet troopers, and they cancelled my order when I asked them to do I was willing to let it go. I bought them from my FLGS instead, but still preordered a ton of legion items from them in the interim.

Then they didn't get their allocation for priority supplies, so I asked them to cancel literally every preorder I had with them. They kindly obliged. I was able to get my priority supplies off Amazon in 2 days, and preordered everything else between a combination of Amazon and cool stuff inc.

I prefer to stay loyal to a retailer, and their customer service is second to none, but if they're unable to deliver products I preorder months in advance I can't patronize them any longer.

i just found a copy of priority supplies on prime, and replaced all my legion preorders with FFG directly. I plan to cancel all my legion preorders tomorrow

its a shame as I live in St. Louis and would rather patronize a local business but like you said I preordered these the day they were announced. If they can’t provide it on or very near release after taking payment months in advance I guess I won’t preorder from them anymore. Lesson learned I guess.

It's probably not just them. There's most like supply / distribution problems - after all, stuff is starting to sell out as soon as it releases!

It might be that FFG isn't giving them reliable numbers, or that FFG prioritizes giving the limited inventory to brick and mortars, or some mix-up with Alliance (the distributor) that doesn't involve FFG at all.

It could always be that MM screwed up, but MM certainly wants your money, and in my experience they're a competent business. Probably some confluence of events not wholly under their control.

This is making me worry.... they did great with my initial legion preorder. Now I’m worried as I have my Big Bang into xwing 2.0 preordered with them.

I just cancelled all my preorders with MM. as others said they are super nice and good customer service as they processed refunds almost immediately and didn’t even ask any questions

their store is great and their service e is good, I just don’t think I want to risk preordering through them anymore personally.

In the past o have had no issues getting things from FFG’s store, they always show up the Wednesday prior to the Thursday release and they don’t charge your card until it ships. The downside is it’s full retail price plus shipping so definatly not the cheapest option. For my own sanity I think I will stick with that route from now on or wait till release and try to get them off amazon or other online places that have them in stock.

i do appreciate everyone’s experiences and I don’t want this to be seen as a bash MM thread since in store and all other transactions I’ve ever have are great. It could be FFG it sending them what they were supposed to recieve or they take too many preorders before knowing how much Stock they will get? I don’t know so I give them the benefit of the doubt but for me personally I don’t think I will want to put money upfront anymore for a preorder without a guarantee of release day delivery as that is usually the whole point of preordering.

At least if for whatever reason FFG can’t fulfil it I won’t have money tied up and can always just try to find them elsewhere and cancel the order right from my account page

Just cancelled mine as they stated they didn't receive any of their first printing pre-orders. Cancelled without issue and ordered from Amazon. Such a bummer. This is becoming more of a thing for them and could start causing repeat customers to go elsewhere. I too am in STL and was going to do a pickup.

Yeah sucks cause they have such a nice store.

hope they can get whatever the issue is sorted. I may be old school but I want to support local stores when possible because wit any hobby store eventually they all go away trying to compete with online.

@blinkhic @Evad04 Might I suggest Game Nite? They’ve got a nice new space and have a 10% discount on preorders. Combined with their rewards program it comes out pretty much the same price wise as MM.

I have not been there before as I’m in st Charles but I will definatly check it out
