Xenology Question

By Nheko, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

I don’t know where to post this since we don’t have a general forum but the species I have questions are tied one way or another to F&D so here we go:

I remember reading somewhere that Adi Gallia and here species aged slower compared to humans but couldn’t remember the source, and if it was canon or not.

Since I only focus getting F&D books, do the Epicanthix appear in any book of the other lines ? .

Well, if Wookipedia is to be trusted, Master Gallia is a Tholothian. The species appears in the F&D source book Unlimited Power.

Thanks, nothing on the lifespan according to my friend, it seems that in this edition is not important as in WotC which was part of every species entry, which is ok by me it gives both the GM and players more freedom. ?

... And here I thought that Adi Gallia was originally described as being a human "wearing a Tholothian headdress", and that Tholothians were simply a cultural group of some sort. Just my luck that my first novel-related introduction to her was the ret-conned on. :(

They’re in the near human category which usually means their ancient ancestors where human stock, but some event or genetic manipulation occurred in their past.

Yep, and originally they were indeed established as human. Lucasfilm changed their minds. They’re allowed to do that.

Just as we're allowed to use the Tholothian culture with Human stats and just refer to them as Tholothian Humans if we don't like the idea of the ret-con.

+1 on that! :)
