I'm looking for a 3rd spec idea probably a social spec.
But most of all I'm looking for a interesting take on the gunslinger archetype... One that would transition well as a campaign becomes more aor then eote.

Scoundrel might be a fun option. What's the core concept/personality of your character? Is it more reckless and wild or analytical and driven?
Medic is pretty fun. It's more combat heavy that you would initially suspect.
I'm really blank slate in the concept so far.
I know he's not proud of something in his past.
I like the Medic option.
If you're looking for something that is haunting his past, maybe the Assassin or the Saboteur spec?
I have always loved the Charmer talent tree. Very social obviously, and some of the talents are very flavorful.
What's that one spec in AoR, the Logistics Officer type spec that gives you social bonuses and helps you procure items/equipment cheaper and easier. That would be a solid and useful spec.
I'm going to kick myself if it's called Logistics Officer.
The Quartermaster?
That's it!
Mercenary Soldier is a good combination of shooting and leadership talents.
If you're going to be piloting at all, Squadron Leader might be a good choice.
Or the Ship Captain universal spec from Dawn of Rebellion.
If he isn't proud of his past, try adding Assassin. It has a lot of things that stack with gunslinger well. Lethal Blows x3, Quick Strike x1, Precision Aim x2, Targeted Blow, Sniper Shot extends pistol range, Dodge x2.
If you go Quartermaster, you can have the character leaving a crime syndicate like Black Sun, but all connections could be old “allies” suppliers and tie into your obligation
That is interesting. I'll keep that in mind certainly.
I'm also leaning towards a gand gambler/gunslinger/agitator
And be more wil vigilance than cool
Sharpshooter has some great combat synergy. If I recall correctly, most of the Talents don't specify a weapon (other than "non-thrown") so almost all will apply to the Gunslinger's pistols. If you invest in more than a few Talents, he'll start to get pretty scary.
Gambler is enough op probably...
I'm looking for more narrative or social stuff... I really wish there was an arbiter spec but around ranged light!
Hmm, if that's what you're looking at perhaps:
Marshall (Colonist)
Politico (Colonist)
Ambassador (Diplomat)
Advocate (Diplomat)
Charmer is actually in the Smuggler career...
another vote for Marshall, but another interesting one is enforcer, if you lean on Coercion as a social skill, Performer is another , also provides one of the, if not the best defensive talent in the game (Coordination Dodge, which can reduce a 95% chance to hit down to 20%, albeit at the cost of a destiny point) , has some unique talents as well that can be used for distractions or moving you out of combat for a bit, if needed, these also help with the fact that Gunslinger is the most Glass Cannon (TM) spec in the game.
getting away from gambler a bit...
What would you spec the saint of killers?
Gambler is an interesting tree, but it's extremely redundant with their signature ability which basically allows them to fix a number of rolls per session. Entered a PVP tourney that had the potential to absolutely dominate the combat narrative by lining up the T's. That being said, sounds like you got that covered.
In all honesty, it depends what else they do other then shoot people. What do you want to do other then shoot?
Face of some sort. What I'm not sure...
I toyed with a performer gunslinger concept, based on the one from Penny Dreadful.

A face or utility... I'm tempted to go a few ways.
Go fearless leader with gunslinger merc soldier and charmer.
Go "horse thief", with pirate and agitator or split the difference and take pirate/politico instead.
Go traditional outlaw rascal with. Dgambler/scoundrel, charmer or performer.
Or weird **** like like a jawa gunslinger/colosus/? Or ewok marshal/gunslinger/enforcer...
Or a deconstructed special agent, gunslinger/m.a./Maybe charmer?
Gunslinger/assassin/sharpshooter for breaking the game...
The whole thing is i can't get a good sense of the story I'm trying to tell with the character so picking the careers is just tossing **** around.
Besides the typical western loner, what are some cool gunslingers out there?
