What situations would you use her in, in the current meta? In response to the aspiration post
So... DCO
I've had success dropping in an MC75 Aspiration with her on it under Raddus. Its a meta call IMO of her or Lando. Which do you fear more, Demo squishing your ships/HIE Raiders or giant Avenger Kuats with all the dice and trimmings?

This is a know your meta kinda thing, but my local meta was getting super heavy in HIEs ACMS and APTs, pretty much every fleet had them and spammed them.
I ran this number, it tore things up. I was able to shut down an entire fleet designed around D-caps HIE raiders... It's not super heavy on damage, but it can weather a massive amount of damage.

Probably only if there are several torpedo boats running around. The rest of the time that officer slot is far too competitive for most lists.
The other issue is that DCO competes with SA, Pryce, and Bail on the big ships. This means it depends on your ship build and whether that officer slot is being used to setup your timing. Overall, I do love the DCO though. I used it a ton when I ran MC80 HO ackbar.
I've been looking into it. My meta has been very heavy on APTs of late, and after seeing HIEs in effect, any day I can preemptively avoid that crap hitting my ISD is a great day
DCO, when it comes into play, completely shuts down your opponents fleet and can basically win you the game as you are preventing mass amounts of damage they were counting on from piling on the crit effects. I ran it on a doom pickle wave 6 and it made it virtually impervious to demo runs even with IO, as they hit the brace and you can contain the apt and redirect the damage, then brace the next shot.
And then you run into fleets that deal plain old vanilla damage and you stare longingly at that officer seat, wishing nearly anyone else was captaining the ship

Yeah, but this is pretty common....like when you love all the AA tricks you brought (Flight controllers, Kallus, Etc. ) when they flop down the no squad fleet....lol.
I take her whenever my opponents don't have any fancy crit effects.
I usually don't take her when my opponents are running nothing but Dodonna APTs.

I think of this as the "Flechette Torpedoes conundrum."
Every now and then I'm actually using Flechettes against a squad-heavy fleet and it is
glorious
, but man does it ever suck to bring them and find they barely matter. Given DCO works best on the big ships with contains that already have a fierce contest for who gets the officer chair, it's hard to bring her only to see her Flechette Torpedo it up.
If large ships had two officer chairs, it would be a different story, I suspect, but that would create openings for some extreme brokenness so it's probably (maybe?) for the best.
I like them on Arquitens or tanky interdictors

She's only shown from the torso up because Imperial engineers have bolted her into the officer chair on the Interdictor and that would've been a weird picture.

Didn't say it was my only option just like using them

Any ship with a contain. DCO stops things like APTs and ACMs proccing as well as HIEs. This can make the ship it's on very tanky... Especially a MC75
