What Are You Taking to Store Champs?

By Boba Rick, in X-Wing

Post your Store Champ list!

I'm going to try Imperial for the first time! Now, granted, two of these three ships FEEL kinda like a Rebel ship to me, but TECHNICALLY they aren't! I'm actually very excited about this list which means it will probably go down in a horrible ball of fire.

1 - QuickDraw is cheap at 33 points here, and he's there to do his punch-you-in-the-face thing.

2 - Feroph has the Krennic condition on himself. He will think to JAM first and use the condition and free Target Locks for offensive mods.

3 - Vessery and Feroph will use the Adaptability EPT to both be at PS5 in most games. Vessery will feed off of the free TLs that QD and Feroph get.

Lastly, the forum will be seeing a lot less of me because I got a new job where it's very hard for me to get on here unlike before. That's probably a good thing. Anyways, I'll be around here and there, but a lot less.

WHAT?!? Two conditions in one list! The horror!

Captain Feroph — TIE Reaper 24
Adaptability 0
ISB Slicer 2
Director Krennic 5
Lightweight Frame 2
Advanced Ailerons 0
Ship Total: 33
Colonel Vessery — TIE Defender 35
Adaptability 0
Multi-spectral Camouflage 1
TIE/x7 -2
Ship Total: 34
"Quickdraw" — TIE/sf Fighter 29
A Score to Settle 0
Fire-Control System 2
Lightweight Frame 2
Special Ops Training 0
Ship Total: 33

I ran imperials for the first time at a store champ. 3-1, lost to Nym/Miranda with bombs. Ps8 lists and bomb lists are a hard, hard matchup. I spent two of my games with a Echo/Ryad on one hull for long periods of time.

Echo-Krennic, VI, ACD, Advanced sensors

Ryad-X7, Score to settle

Ps1 Reaper-Title, Intel agent, ISB slicer

Baby Blues.

4x Blue squadron novices equipped with Flight Assist and Integrated. 100 points.

I have played two games with it, had no idea how to fly it. I beat a Carnor, Soontir, Feroph list with it, then only barely lost to a triple 11's list (Wedge and Fenn were dead, lost to a shieldless Poe with BB-8). I have high hopes, especially since I learned they like flying closer together.

With X-Wings and jamming Reapers everywhere, arcs and arc-dodging matter more than ever. With that and the fact that I have been netlisting Phil Horny's Undercover Bosses for almost 5 months, I'm taking Kylo, Quickdraw (VI and Primed Thrusters), and Countdown (just the title). Additionally, with R3-A2 spotted outside of Ezra as well as a resurgence of Final Form, it's my best chance to have both lots of fun zipping as well as a sporting chance to win the events.

In the Urbana, Illinois store champ, I did beat Final Form for the win.

Been to two. For the first, I took Ventress, Thweek, and Sunny. For the second, I took QuickDraw, Inquisitor, and a Palp Reaper. There’s at least one more in my area i’d like to go to, and I’m going to practice with some T-65 lists to see what gels with me in preparation for that last one.

If I actually owned copies of trajedy simulator I'd run the Fire Storm Special (Nym + Ten) and watch the world burn. Just to get it out of my system.

Expertise, Push the Limit, or Mindlink on Assajj? Also, how'd it go?

Push the Limit.

I went 2-2, with my two losses being from the guys who took 1st and 2nd place.

Imperials. Probably bad, but fun ones.

First one I went to, took Chirpy (krennic, rebel captive, engine, kylo, ion bombs, title) and stealth device fel. Took 2nd place out of 19 losing to 2A2XSheathipede twice

Yesterday: Two 32pt seinar silencers (FCS, AT, Advanced optics) and VI Harpoon QD with chips and FCS. Took 2nd place out of 19ish losing to QD, Vermeil, and a Rho

Starting to feel like I have that bridesmaid grasser curse...

I'm considering palp, Krennic, and Vader myself, though I'd have to get two reapers for it.

100 pt. Whisper

Whisper with Krennic, VI, AS, ACD

Vermeil with Palp, Adaptability, title, LWF

Scimitar bomber with TIE shuttle, Kylo crew, Courier Droid

It's the most broken squad I've ever flown, and I'm obsessed with it in an unhealthy way.

If I made it out to a second I might fly this if I could borrow a fourth renegade refit from someone.

Might be my only chance to use the fancy 'gold' cavern angle zealot card. (bummed the reverse wasn't 2.0).

Predator might be better than outmaneuver.

Saw Gerrera — U-Wing 26
Expert Handling 2
Thrust Corrector 1
Renegade Refit -2
Kyle Katarn 3
Inspiring Recruit 1
Tactical Jammer 1
Pivot Wing 0
Ship Total: 31
Cavern Angels Zealot — X-Wing 22
Outmaneuver 3
Renegade Refit -2
Flight-Assist Astromech 1
Integrated Astromech 0
Servomotor S-Foils 0
Ship Total: 23
Cavern Angels Zealot — X-Wing 22
Outmaneuver 3
Renegade Refit -2
Flight-Assist Astromech 1
Integrated Astromech 0
Servomotor S-Foils 0

Seriously considering the Chewie/Leebo list I used in a ‘normal’ tourney this past weekend.

Chewie (crit blocking)
* Expertise
* Inspiring Recruit
* Evading Falcon

Leebo
* Expertise
* Outrider
* HLC
* Dash (might replace with a second Inspiring Recruit)

Not super meta, but does work well against Jammers and GhostFen lists in that they don’t need tokens as much. Inspiring Recruits for stress mitigation. And using Chewie as a buffer to keep folks out of Leebo’s blind spot.

Not a top tier list, but I ain’t exactly a top tier player... ;)

Why not Lone Wolf and rey on Leebo? And Chewie with Rage?

Nothing. My FLGS is not doing a tourney until September 22nd, at which point, I will hopefully be flying A bunch if TIEs as I eat my birthday cake.

All of them running at PS 7 makes maneuvering a lot of fun.

Going to go with what I'm using till 2.0 drops:

Quote

Quickdraw with VI, Advanced Optics, LW Frame, Title and FCS (36)

2 x SJA Silencers with Advanced Optics, Autothrusters and FCS (2 x 32 = 64)

Total = 100

I'd like to try 5 Rookies with Refit, S-Foils, IA and Flight Assist Astros but I don't have access to the cards I need to make the list.

I am flying 4 rookies with Refit, Sfoils, IA and FAA + AP-5 with Tactician/r3a2.
Got 2nd in a store champ last weekend and have another one to go to this weekend. Gotta remember the sfoils!

2 PS1 BSF's w/o.silos, proxy mines, AC, PA, APL

1 Warden w/Sabine and MS Camoflauge.

I've never flown BSF's, but I always have very intriguing games against them. Because of this, and the fact that they look amazing on the table, I love any list that uses them.

X-wings. Season to taste.

To counter the Reapers I expected I brought triple wookiees. Lowhhrick with Adaptability, Ops Spec, and Threepio. Two Liberators with Adaptability, Gunner, and Tactician.

I went 4-0, top in Swiss, got my prizes, then conceded my top 4 match because I had plans later. :)

You have earned one ruthlessness token. Its refreshing to see someone post a correct list thank you. Even if some of the cards are wrong.
