Granted, afterburners won't synergize with his ability in a talon roll, but let's look at what will: Elusive. More than most other pilots, he will recharge it, making it more difficult to hit him, and with the initiative bracket condensing and the ship ability being easier to proc, he will often correct a blank to evade. With a focus for offense and defense (clutch pseudo-action recon spec after turning 180°), power level down, and top-tier pilots costing significantly more than 1.0, he will actually be a good filler.

Ehhhhh I'm not sold. Wth everything only working every other round he just feels like he'll get stomped on the off turns.

I hope he turns out viable. Elusive sounds like a good fit.

@thespaceinvader he still has reroll from Elusive every turn against ships activating after him, only recharges it (and gets double focus) every other. So 3 greens, 1-2 focus tokens, 1reroll (and extra evade from ability sometimes)

Unlike 1.0 Kad who had nothing extra the turns he did not fly red.

If locked in a joust he could be good. But predictable. I think he will be best vs generics.
