Chaos Corruption help?

By swingjunkie, in Warhammer Invasion Deck Building

So my friend built a sniping deck from my Invasion cards, since I had no idea how to make Chaos work properly. However, with time, that deck proved to not have enough firepower to actually burn the capital in any reasonable amount of time. So, I took it apart and attempted to build a new Chaos control deck, this time working off corruption lockdown, but it's not quite working out and is very unstable in draws.

So, has anyone managed to make a good Chaos corruption-based deck, and if so, do you think you could clue me into how to make it work?

i tried but failed !

hard one to build :)

I spent my first 3 months of Invasion trying to make mono-chaos corruption work. I never got anything that really worked well consistently. I was hoping that the Assault on Uthalan pack might give us some more toys to work with. alas, based on the teaser thread in the main section, looks like they are developing the direct damage them more.

The good news is that it has been a lot easier for me to make other decks, so it was not wasted effort on my part. lengua.gif

i've tried several ways - best i could come up with is as a compliment to a Skaven deck

Based on the more complete Spoiler Thread, I do believe that there is a good Chaos-Dark Elf corruption build lurking in the shadows.

I agree ! Har Ganeth and Chillwind are both prime candidates for a build like that, and even Dark Sorceress seems better now.

I feel that currently Har Geneth is the strongest 2 cost support out there : just send to pilgrimate low HP units (annoying empire counterstrikers for example) or corrupt the bigger ones with Festering Nurglings, or just get a free card draw/turn with Walking Sacrifice.

Bear in mind that Har Ganeth is unique, which is a significant downside on a support. It's still really good though.

you should go check out the deck list i posted a wee while back under total destruction my deck of death, it's a solid deck that's able to do a bit of control, hand destruction corruption and rush

Well, most times you won't draw more than 2, or just even one. I don't consider it a major drawback. Quest are also unique and nobody complains about that, because 1 is enought most of the times. Multiple of this support could be rally broken (as Shrine to Taal is)

Hovewer I'm that type of guy that I played 8 hero card in my last Chaos/Skaven build, so I'm not shying away from "unique" cards.

I recommend it at least as a 2-of as I would wan't to play it in every match.
