Do you do the 1 indirect after playing this card for the first time or do you need to already have a copy of it in play? And if you do does that also mean you get to activate it the same turn?

The tank specifically says ‘including this support’ in the text. So, it does an indirect damage after you play it. And, you can activate it after you play it.
