Hi.
I have some questions that I hope that you guys can help with.
Crafted Talismans .. are they permanent?
The Protective amulet.... that is insanely over powered for 300 credits!
Or am i missing something?

They're permanent unless it says something different in the description of the effects. And yes, The Protective Amulet seems crazy. There is probably a duration on it, the text sort of implies that there is a duration, but there is no description of how long that duration is. Otherwise it lets you do some really crazy weird things, like reenter a planets atmosphere without a ship or a suit if you have impossible fall.
The whole thing seems weirdly perfect for Leia to survive vacuum as well. Being blown out of the bridge into space is hardly a major problem if you have that amulet on you, and why wouldn't you? It's dirt cheap and super easy to make, has 0 downsides and is awesome.
Thanks.

"make a
Protective Amulet
for the entire party for 300 credits each and make something crazy with the ALTER powers corrosive areas."
Hmm what kind of equipment do a character need for Alchemical crafting.
I can't seem to find the answer in the book.
In Special Modifications they mention a workshop that costs tens of thousands.
But somehow I dont invision The witches of Dathomir in a fancy state of the art laboratory.
Can someone point me in the direction of the right rules?
?
It's the same as the basic crafting rules. You just need stuff that represents the price, the knowledge on how to do it and the time to do it. Nor special workspace required, no real special tools required. That stuff can be done narratively. You don't really need the workshop from Special Modifications either, that one just makes things easier.

There's a sidebar that mentions that each Force user's attempts at alchemical crafting is going to look different based upon what was used for ingredients. And since the book makes no real mention of what sort of tools are "required," I suspect that each would-be alchemist is going to have a different set-up simply based upon how they approach the Force.
As mad Science! type of Force user (Doc Brown flyaway hair optional) is probably going to have a set-up that looks right at home in a 50's Universal Studios monster flick, while a Force user of a more druidic/naturalist bent is probably going to have a much simpler set of tools, likely made from stone/bone/wood.

This imagery amused me.
