resolving a blank as if it had a different symbol

By Idgit, in Star Wars: Destiny

So this might be a strange question, but I'm looking at making an emperor palpatine/ bib fortuna list and I was wondering if it were possible to use cards like As you command or Now you will die to resolve palp's blank side so that I can put it back on my card (plus spam a few quick damage) to try adding it again. I know I can't traditionally resolve a blank but I didn't know if I could resolve it as if it had another face that needs a value or not.

This probably isn't an optimal combo but I don't have the collection of awesome stuff I want just yet (that's why I'm looking at running a single palp die). Anyway, thanks in advance for any answers you might be able to provide.

I would assume so since you can change a blank into a special with C3P0, theyre both 0 so it happens alot.

Never heard of anyone trying to resolve a blank as a focus/attack of 0 so im not entirely sure if thats valid. I dont see a reason why not though.

You cannot resolve a blank. C3p0 changes blanks to a different symbol.

Both as you command and now you die also allow you to resolve a die as if it had a different symbol (which is the wording on 3PO), in the cases of these two cards however the new symbol is specified (focus and melee damage respectively) but since both of those usually have a number in front of them I wasn't sure if it would still work.

C3p0 keeps the original value so changing a blank to a special is the only way to get value from it, as far as I know.

I've run this deck. It's fun.

Changing the symbol, as stated, does not change the value, so changing Palp's blank to something else will allow you to resolve the die, since blanks are the only symbol you can't resolve. So you'd resolve 0 Focus, or whatever, the die itself would do nothing, but Palp's ability would still activate and deal 2 damage to your opponent. Plus the die would be back on his card, allowing Bib's special to roll it back in.

Thats exactly what hes trying to do.

He has Bib in there, so he probably has his special out and wants to remove Palp's die so he can roll it back out.
Resolving it with a "counts as something else" wildcard isnt exactly cheap but because its Palp's die its not horrible either.

IMO i'd rather discard the card to reroll it but knowing my luck it'd roll a blank again lol.

It's highly situational, for sure. At the same time, it could also mean the difference between a win or a loss. I think the deck is fun, and has some high burst potential, and this gives it just a little more in the way of tricks to eke out a win in a close game.
