Trust me, there is NO ONE out there that wants new Armada toys more than me. I want them bad, and I want them now. I am mad that we don't get news. I am sad that we get so shafted. I think FFG has failed the communities of it's games in a significant way by being so standoffish. But yet, I still love Armada, still play Armada, and at this point, FFG can't TAKE that away from me. I am a member of the community that will keep playing Armada for a long time. My kids will play Armada as they colonize Mars

So don't worry about it, either way.

More concerned about the logistics of it - I'm not sure how many of us will fit into a pair of panties, even if they are big-boy ones..

I wholeheartedly agree with the notion of this thread, but more importantly, we need to stop posting these threads. Even though it's opposite in sentiment, this thread is included in the problem because it further fills the forum with multipage thread after multipage thread of everyone's opinion on how we don't have new stuff. It's bad for morale, and it's super low-effort content (easy 1000 views per day for a nothing conversation).

So, let's all silently agree:

• Kill the "Armada is dead" joke. It was a groaner the first time, and we're way past that.
• Don't keep posting threads on the subject of it's dead/alive.
• Don't keep bumping these threads to the top of the forum by posting in them.
• Indicate your overwhelming agreement by not doing anything and not reacting to this message.

I agree with just about everything you said except that this thread is part of the problem and that it's low effort. If this didnt get said I was one thread away from being done here. This was far from a throwaway post for me. (People who know know I almost never actually start topics, this whole thing was way outside for me.)

That said, your right, this served its purpose so we can leave it alone, and I hope we have seen the last of Armada is Dead.

Honestly, even taking a dump on FFG and hammering the 'no news is killing us message' is something. It may not be beneficial, but Ive been to the next steps. And the next steps are checking out other games, ignoring these forums and stopping your own community participation...just plain old loss of intrest.

At least these Armada is dead/dying/no enthusiasm posts keep the replies going.

That’s a temporary solution at best, and a way to make people leave at worst. Keeping this forum a constructive, engaging place will help us retain players. Whether that works forever and what the big picture for Armada is are both out of our hands. But I’m not quitting. And since I’m staying, I’ll try to help make this forum the positive environment I want it to be.

seems to me that FFG pushes certain games from time to time and that they have limited production capacity for their plastic crack... Right now they are pushing x-wing 2.0 and Legion, legion and MORE legion......However even since the beginning i haven't seen FFG push Armada like they have other games...I mean I am still holding out hope for some big news during gen con. but as i kind of sarcastically remarked if its anything less than an SSD i would be underwhelmed!! lol

I applaud your optimism, and can no longer maintain my own for Armada. I still love the game, but hold no hope for adequate support from FFG.

I dont know what the big deal is, it well known that Xwing is getting a second edition like Swedge mentioned basically 100% effort is in that right now for the massive second release with the most aggressive time frame they have ever done. I mean there are only so many factories.

Considering how much effort is going into Legion and X-Wing I think it's reasonable to ask for a single wave in the midst of it all. People just want their favourite game to have some support, especially in comparison to what others receive. It might be prudent for FFG to work with their manufacturing partners to bring more capacity online if they can't properly support their games. People want to spend money, it's crazy a business is leaving that on the table.
