Here are some starting suggestions:

Drop Gunnery teams from the Demo and get Ordnance experts and upgrade the external racks to APTs. You may want to drop the gladiator to a I variant to save points unless you really feel like you need the extra flak. Change out the Interdictor combat refit to the suppression and make sure you get targeting scramblers. Needa is a decent choice, but Brunson is better. Also, the G8 seems very niche to me - something you’d use in a Konstantine list with tractor beams. It’s also a heavy point investment for its limited usefulness. Unless you’re going all in with squads, go for a more specialized anti-squadron setup instead of the bombers. Something like Ciena and Valen.

I would recommend getting engine techs on the gladiator and maybe switching out some of the squadrons, Gar Saxon doesn't prove to work very often for me.

Imo if you want raid Gar is the only one that makes it work effectively. And for his pittance of points above a generic there's no reason not to run him- if you want raid.

Problem is raid is pretty mediocre. Can be clutch tho, so play what works. I am still waiting for someone to show up with raid figured out and wreck us all with it.
