With FFG announcing new minis for us to clash our armies, and with some having abilities that create synergy with other units, but they are starting to cost a lot, how soon do you think we will get a point increase? One of the new OPs for Season 2 is an escalation that goes to 1000.

X-wing escalation goes to 120 and then 150 points. A 1000 point escalation league finale doesn't indicate a points increase.

150% of 800 would be 1200. Ooooo what could you do with 1200 points :D

Pretty much this. You can already fit a Commander, 6 Troops, and 3 Supports (Although the Imperials get railroaded into Veers as a commander unless you really scrape on upgrades) at 800. 1000 points would actually remove choice in list building because you could bring everything and the kitchen sink.

I hope not. I like the hard choices 800 supports, plus short game play.

1000 points will give hard choices, eventually, so bring it on!

Try running a 3 round tournament and see how many people actually finish the game before the end of the round.

The current "meta" of "all the activations" will most likely change as time progresses. We still have no units for the Special Forces slots or Operative slot actually released. We don't known the mechanics of the Rebel Operatives or Scout Troopers. There are so many unknowns in this game at moment that people calling this game bad or good is ridiculous.

The game is 3.5 months old, give FFG some time to actually release some stuff. As hard as it is to wait for stuff to come out they've been doing a decent job, really.
